The Olive Tree Villas are2 detached and 2 semi-detached brand new villas set in 1,500sq m of olive grove and gardens, in the beautiful coastal village of Kypseli. With their own large swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests, the beach is only 300m away and 4 tavernas are all within walking distance, they offer the very best of everything. All the properties are fully air-conditioned, have integral fly-netting throughout and are equipped, decorated and maintained to the very highest standards. Villas Jasmine and Mimosa sleep up to 4 people each, whilst Villas Hibiscus and Oleander have large sofa-beds in the lounge, allowing them to sleep up to 6 people each. Each villa enjoys its own individual style, and stunning views of this beautiful location. Every villa has furnished verandas, balconies and a barbeque/patio area, completing the luxury and comfort of these impressive accommodations, which will be completed by April 30th 2007 and ready for occupation from May 8th 2007.

Villa Oleander is the sister villa to Villa Hibiscus and is a self-contained semi-detached 2 floor villa sleeping a max. of 6. The ground floor consists of a large open plan kitchen/diner, lounge and downstairs bathroom with corner shower cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped: electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, ironing-board, kettle, toaster,full set of crockery,cutlery and glassware for 6, and a full range of cooking utensils. The lounge is comfortably furnished and has a large double sofa bed that sleeps 2. There is a flat screen T.V., DVD, and a hi-fi system. Doors lead from the lounge onto a furnished patio overlooking the pool. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with jacuzzi. Both the bedrooms have doors which lead out onto a furnished balcony overlooking the pool.

The gentle pace of life in Kypseli lends itself beautifully to simple, relaxed tourism. The predominently agricultural countryside spreads right down to the sea & tourist accommodation is sprinkled between olive & citrus groves, vineyards & farm gardens. The villas are ideally situated to enjoy all the simple pleasures that Kypseli has to offer. The beach is a 3min stroll away down a quiet, narrow road. It is mainly pebble, with some sandy parts & remains peacefully unspoilt. The sea is clean and clear & great for snorkelling. 2 of the best fish tavernas on the island can be found at the water's edge here. The local, well-stocked supermarket is 300m away at the crossroads, as is the nearest taverna. Nightlife is traditional and simple, informal & impromptu, but there's plenty of choice. There are 2 excellent fish tavernas, 2 restaurants, a beach-side garden bar and 2 grill-houses. The more touristic resorts of Tsilivi (4km) and Alykes (7km) offer more lively and varied nightlife.

Notes: Both Villas Oleander and Hibiscus are completely self-contained within the semi-detached building. The swimming pool is 12metres X 8.5 metres, with an adjoining children's pool. The children's pool is 50cms. deep. The large pool is 60cms. at the shallow end, and 1m.50cms. at the deep end. Sun loungers and umbrellas are around the pool, and there is plenty of natural shade from the olive trees as well. There is on-site parking for up to 4 cars. All villas have ramp access. Beach/pool towels are not provided.

Hostess with the Mostess!

Oh well! The tan has just about disappeared, courtesy of the monsoon weather that we have endured since our return from sunny Zante.

Beautifully appointed and set just off a quiet road leading to the beach, our villa was everything we could have hoped for. It was furnished to a high standard and was full of little extras, like a cd player and TV. Not so sure about the TV, after my partners daughters decided to tune into Hollyoaks on a daily basis! Get over it Martin!

Diana worked tirelessly to ensure that everything went smoothly and she visited the complex at least twice per day. She was also ably assisted by her back-up team, who ensured that the appartments were thoroughly cleaned and maintained on a daily basis.

We loved the pool area, the singing butcher, the relaxation area at the taverna by the sea, where we chilled and drank copious amounts of Mythos: well at least I did!

Finally, do pay a visit to The Olive Tree restaurant in Tsilivi
which is run by Diana's talented and affable partner. They were queuing to get in on the night we attended, which is more than could be said for the neighbouring eateries.

I'm sure that we will make a return visit, if only to catch up again with Diana.

Fantastic villa

We stayed in this complex of villas for a week in September 2008. The weather was kind but the villa was just superb - faultless.
The owners are on hand to answer any questions, give you guidance about the area, eating out etc and the place is absolutely spotless.

The villas are very comfortable and very roomy. Lots of space and home from home with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The villas are cleaned every day and they are secure behind a large gated entrance with a fabulous pool setting with good quality poolside furniture.

Fresh eggs from the owners chickens' await you on arrival together with their own organic olive oil which is just delicious.

It's these subtle differences that make your holiday stand out from the rest! T

We have rented villas quite a few times but this one tops the lot.The owners are so helpful and welcoming it really is a home from home experience but made so much better by them.

They even produce their own delicious organic live oil which we were supplied with along with eggs.

The pool is fantastic for children and adults and unlike other villas we have rented is positioned perfectly to catch the sun all day and remain at a blissful temperature.

The villa itself is everything you would need and cleaned daily for you ..adding to the relaxing feel of the whole place.The landscaped gardens are gorgeous and only a few minutes walk from local shops it is situated away from the busy town surrounded by beautiful olive trees.

I would definitely recommend this villa for couples and families alike.Perfect !

Die Anlage ist wunderschön, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Sorgfalt gebaut; die Ausstattung der Häuser entspricht höchsten Ansprüchen. Die Sauberkeit und Service sind vorbildlich. Der Garten ist eine Augenweide und wird täglich gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr rücksichtsvoll und bleibt dezent im Hintergrund. Einfach klasse! Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, umgänglich und hilfsbereit, die Betreuung einmalig. Abgesehen von der Anlage selber, das idyllische authentische Dorf mit seinem Ministrand, guten Tavernas und der Möglichkeit, alles Nötige vor Ort zu besorgen, runden das Bild von einem perfekten Urlaub ab.
Um sich die Schönheit und Vielfalt der Insel nicht entgehen zu lassen, braucht man ein Auto, das allerdings genauso gut lokal gemietet werden kann. Nicht für die Pauschalurlauber aber für Leute mit Stil!
