A unique, fully-staffed villa in a stunning location close to one of Bali's few golden sand beaches at Canggu. This is an architect-designed house with Moorish as well as Balinese influences, unlike the standard Asian holiday villa (concrete and glass box), The spacious accommodation comprises three stylish en suite bedrooms, one bedroom is in a self-contained guest suite. The villa contains a wealth of Balinese antiques and wood carving. From the veranda you look out over the secluded pool and spectacular tropical gardens. The garden extends to the river and contains 3 pavilions with cushions and sofas. water features, stone carvings and shrines, and a cool infinity pool (10 X 4 metres) surrounded by palms, giant ferns, orchids and bougainvillea. In an unspoilt village location with local temples, the villa is only 10 mins from Canggu beach, and 20 mins from the smart restaurants and shops of Seminyak. NB. This is a non-profit making rental, with all money going to help Bali people.

Rental rates for the villa in Indonesia (Bali)

Notes to the rental rates

• A 20% deposit is required before your booking can be confirmed. You can pay using telegraphic transfer. The balance can be paid in cash on arrival or by telegraphic transfer.
  A 10% DISCOUNT WILL BE GIVEN FOR FOR EARLY BOOKING (SIX MONTHS AHEAD). DISCOUNTS MAY BE GIVEN FOR BOOKINGS OF MORE THAN TWO WEEKS, EXCEPT IN JULY AND AUGUST.
  
• The rates include airport transfers (for stays of more than 7 nights) and basic items at the villa, such as water, toilet paper, mosquito coils, etc.. Food and drink can be purchased by the staff in advance (and during your stay) - you only need to give the staff the cost of the items. You will be surprised how much money you save compared with staying in a hotel, plus you will receive personal service.
  We can arrange for you to be met at the airport by a driver and brought to the villa where staff will welcome you to the house and explain everything you might need to know. Domestic and gardening staff are available every day. The villa manager is available most days to help with shopping, and ideas for tours, cultural, leisure and sports activities.
  
• Safe deposit boxes are provided for cash and valuables.
  TRANSPORT - a car and driver (six seater) can be arranged for about 20-30 British pounds per day. Usually the driver can be at the villa within 30 min. We can also arrange self-drive car hire if you prefer for 10-20 pounds per day. You will need an International Driver's Licence.

Villa Tukad has been running for four years now, in which time we have received nothing but praise for the facilities, the gardens, the atmosphere and especially the staff. The full-time cook keeps improving and her reportoire of Western and Asian dishes and the quality of her cooking means guests rarely go out to eat. Guests comments are available on request. Most of our guests come from England and France and the staff are slowly improving in both languages.

A two-centred (golf) holiday

Visitors to Bali who would like to see more of the island might like to consider combining a stay at this villa with our other property in Bedugual (property no 85226). The two properties are very different and although they are only one hour's drive apart, the climate in Bedugul is much cooler. If you are interested in golf, then the two villas combine to give you close access to two of the most picturesque golf courses in Asia. The Nirwana (managed by Le Meridien) is at Tanah Lot overlooking the ocean- 15 minutes by car from Villa Tukad. The Pancasari Country Club near Bedugul is a spectacular course in the crater of a volcano. This is literaly on the doorstep of our property in Bedugul.
