Magnificently located on Youghal's waterfront, these luxurious, furnished suites have unobstructed views of Youghal Bay the Atlantic Ocean and the Blackwater River from each suite. These suites are designed to be welcoming and feel like a home away from home from the moment you arrive. There is a total of 34 suites in the complex with four different types of accommodation available, (1) 2-bedroom suites with picture windows (2) 2-bed suites with large balconies (3) 3-bedroom suites with regular balconies having a great water view and (4) 3-bed suites with large balconies and superb views. There is on-site management to help you with anything you may require as well as to provide security. The 2-bedroom suites sleep 4 and the 3 bedroom suites sleep 5. All the suites are rated 3-star under the Bord Fáilte classification system, meaning there is a high quality of fittings and furnishings including a washing machine and tumble dryer, a lounge area with TV and electrical heating.

Youghal, is a historic and ancient town situated at the mouth of the Blackwater River as it joins the Atlantic Ocean . This area of the East Cork coastline has outstanding natural beauty with small fishing villages nestling along the coastline. Youghal is renowned for its Blue Flag Beaches and for its salmon and trout freshwater fishing. Saltwater angling for bass, flounder, coalfish, plaice, conger etc is also available and boats are available for hire. It is also a superb location for birdwatching ( Birdwatch Ireland wrote an article on the area in 'Wings' its quarterly publication). Youghal is renowned for its gourmet & seafood restaurants. There are many scenic drives in and around Youghal, such as, Fota Wildlife Park , Fota House, Lismore Castle, Barryscourt Castle and Ballycotton (a fishing village). Cork City is 32 miles and Blarney Castle is 37 miles.

Overview
Fantastic beaches, great places to stay, lots to see and do - Youghal has been a favoured holiday destination for over 100 years and is right in the centre of the sunny south coast of Ireland. The beauty of the setting is the first thing that strikes you about Youghal. The town nestling on the banks of the majestic Blackwater river as it reaches the sea. Familes and kids will love the beaches, Youghal being the only town in Ireland with not one, but two, beaches that have been awarded EU BLue Flags. A brand new local indoor swimming pool and gymnasium has recently been opened. This has 'state of the ar't facilities at affordable prices and guests can pay per visit . Everyone will enjoy the entertainments of Youghal town, restaurants, pubs, shops and of course the sights of this National Heritage gem. Holiday Activities
Fota Wildlife Park has over 90 species of exotic wildlife - an absolute must for all the family. The park is set on 70 acres of open countryside with many of the species roaming freely around the park. Cross Country Safari with Bridgefield Buggies. Take an all terrain vehicle and drive through a specially designed cross country course which runs through a working livestock farm. . The historic Blarney Castle is is most famous for its 'stone', which has the traditional power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it. Angling. Youghal boasts an excellent variety of angling. Deep sea fishing including conger to 41 lbs in weight and blue shark up to 135 lbs. Angling trip including the organisation of rods, gillies and boat hire can be arranged. Birdwatching. An article in the spring edition of Birdwatch Ireland's magazine 'Wings' outlines the many bird species in the area including some spectacular rarities. Habitats include sand & mudflats, marsh, reedbeds & open sea.
Days trips
Ballycotton, a 20 mile drive, is a picturesque cliff-side fishing village 8 miles off the Youghal to Cork Road, and just 30 minutes from Cork City. The village meanders along on a rocky headland overlooking Ballycotton Bay until you reach the end of the road at Ballycotton's beautiful fishing harbour with its views out over the rocks to the famous black lighthouse. There is a wonderful walk along the cliffs at the far end of the village. The road from Youghal to Lismore via Tallow enjoys spectacular views of the Knockmealdown mountains (30 mile drive). At the mid point between Youghal and Tallow is the appropriately named Half Way Bar with attendant shop and adjacent stable block - both Guinness and Murphys are on tap and friendly conversation is freely available. Cobh (40 minutes drive). Cobh, originally known as Cove before it became Queenstown. It has a heritage centre well worth visiting which commemorate the Irish people who emigrated to the US from Cobh.
