A diamond in the emerald isle!

Where do I start? This was without doubt the most enjoyable holiday we have had in a long time! The cottage was beautiful - exceptional standards of cleanliness and all the home comforts we could ask for - a real home from home.
Margaret and Dave were both so welcoming and gave us lots of information about where to visit and which resteraunts to eat in etc.
The location and views are second to none, just stunning to wake up to that scenery every morning!
By far the most well equipped cottage we have stayed in in Ireland (Or anywhere actually), and the prices are very reasonable. We paid less for the cottage and the electricity than in other far less desirable locations!
We have recommended Kerford Cottages to all our friends and hope to visit again in the near future - its a place we will never get bored of visiting. Kenmare is such a lovely little town and the cottage is great for access to the ring of Kerry and Beara. There are also some lovely beaches nearby not to be missed!
Overall a wonderful experience - we cannot recommend highly enough!

Autumn Week's Break

Baz & Eve Herefordshire
Review Submitted: November 4, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
We had a most enjoyable stay in Kerford Cottage with our two small dogs, with every amenity supplied. The property was well-described and was immaculate and the owners were very helpful indeed. We did a sight-seeing holiday around Kerry and Cork and found the cottage to be in a very convenient position with beautiful views, although it did seem further from Kenmare than we had expected. The weather was cold during our stay, but the open fire was great for the evenings when we returned from our travels. We opted to only use the hall storage heater during our stay which, together with a convector heater in the bedroom and a wonderful electric blanket made life very comfortable. We did however find the electricity charge of 33 euros at the end of the week somewhat high as we cooked very little and were careful with heating etc.
Plenty to see and do, and loads of local restaurants and pubs to choose from. We would highly recommend Kerford Cottages.

Thank you so much Margaret for this nice cottage.
Everything was clean and the discription of the cottage and the interieur is good.
We was so thankful for the disher, the washingmaschine and the dryer....and for the DVD player...and for the two bathrooms. Everything works perfect.
And Margaret, the owner, who lives near by was so nice to us. Thank you for all.

Kerford Cottage 2

Fuschia Bracknell, Berkshire, England
Review Submitted: June 28, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We spent a delightful fortnight in the two-bedroomed Kerford Cottage. The cottage was tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped. We were warmly welcomed by Margaret. The area around the cottage was even more beautiful than we thought it would be. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wishes to have a stress-free holiday and we definitely plan to return!

The Perfect Home Away from Home

American Family of 5 London, England
Review Submitted: June 3, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
Our stay at this cottage was absolutely perfect. It is a brand new 3-bedroom, 2-bath duplex in a private location with fabulous views over the bay. Extremely clean, well-appointed, very relaxing atmosphere. It's an easy drive from there to all the gorgeous sights of SW Ireland. The owner lives next door, so any problems or questions can be dealt with easily and quickly. Kenmare is a delightful town with all the services one could need. Great pubs too. We could have stayed forever.
