Cottage Mary Rose is an 18th century thatched stone cottage. With today’s comforts it is the perfect place to call home while exploring the treasures of beautiful County Kerry. You'll enjoy the rustic stone fireplace in the sitting room while relaxing or playing game. The large country kitchen has a red cast iron Aga stove to prepare your meals. The large antique farm table that seats up to eight adds to the warm feel of this beautiful room. It is also equipped with a dishwasher to make your life a little easier. There are 2 bathrooms .The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi to relax in after your long days journey. There is also a massage shower. There is an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower and separate w/c and sink.There is a large terrace over looking the rushing stream below. From here you can enjoy the hot tub. On your arrival you and your guests will receive complimentary wine and Irish treats. Hughes pub is a short walk away. Please contact us for details of our web site.

Cottage Mary Rose was everything described, and then some. The cottage was clean as a whistle, well maintained and extremely well equipped. All modern conveniences were available, without sacrificing old world charm. Both house and garden are just lovely, the hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake!

Both the owner and the local caretaker provided good and friendly service.

The cottage is well situated for touring County Kerry. It's far enough away from a town to be peaceful, but close enough to make obtaining groceries or anything else you'd need really easy. There are a number of good local restaurants within just a few miles, and a pub within walking distance of the cottage.

Larger towns of Tralee and Killarney are fairly close, with an untold number of restaurants, nice shops and pubs.

Not only would I recommend this cottage to others, my husband and I can't wait to return there!

David , Olive , Alex, Adam and Ben spent a wonder full weekend in Cottage Mary Rose during March 2009.
Lots of scones were baked on the aga style cooker, then served up and savoured in the garden....the latter a treat to experience..listening to the stream and the birds twitter in the trees. A peaceful haven. To relax in the hot tub and to observe the night sky at the close of the day was our delight.
Inside the cottage there is an atmosphere of warmth and welcome....truly an Irish experience. Everything that one would desire for a break away is to hand in this unique cottage. Castleisland is a short cycle and the little cafe " Crumb"on Main Street makes a welcome break for a delicious cappucino before the return cycle.
Breeda and Tom were always on hand for support when we had questions

We recommend Cottage Mary Rose for that special treat!

Absolutley wonderful cottage with all the comforts of home. Very cozy and warm. Plenty of supplies and necessities. Loved the ambience of the Irish Cottage. Did not want to leave and would not hestitate to go back. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to explore County Kerry as it was a good central point to Dingle, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. William, you have a real gem here and thank you for letting us partake of its beauty. I hope to be able to come back to this beautiful cottage on my next rip to Ireland.
