Newly built 4* holiday cottage beside beach (child friendly)

This is a well maintained, family friendly cottage near the wonderful beach at Ballinskelligs. The beach is no more than a few minutes walk and is lovely for walking on. The views are spectacular. The cottage is quiet, warm and has all the basic essentials needed. It has a very well maintained garden and a nice picnic table in the back. Beach and garden chairs are provided. The kitchen, utility room and bathrooms are all well equiped. The large table in the kitchen is great for entertaining up to 8 people.

It is one of 5 cottages on the development. Two of the cottages are still under construction and the other 2 are also used as rental properties. This property is more geared towards youger families than the other two finished cottages (decor and amenities).

The surrounding countryside is very tranquil. There are a few nice pubs within walking distance, along with some stunning golf courses, scenic drives and art gallery near by.

The whole process of booking the cottage (communications, payment and instructions went very smoothly). The owner was very pleasant to deal with.

I would definitely recommmend this property to a friend and return myself - but there is just one or two additional "touches" that are required. The window coverings (curtains and net) are all sheer and need to be improved in all of the bedrooms. Two bedrooms have no window covering on the velux windows so one is easily woken at the first break of dawn.

Other than that - everything else was just perfect.
