Missing you already!!!!!!!!!!!

Review Submitted: October 13, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Just got back from a wonderful stay at "The Pump House" A Big Thank You to Claudia, James and their family and pets for providing us with a warm welcome, a most comfortable base in an idyllic setting.
This cottage is quaint but with every modern convenience that you could ask for and more.
We especially loved the wood burning stove which gave our evenings that warm fuzzy feeling.
Thank you also for the delicious home made scones and jam you provided for us on our arrival ( must get the recipe )
We will be back soon,
Jacquie & Mike Berkshire

Total chill-out

Review Submitted: January 30, 2012 Date of Stay: January 2012
We picked this cottage because it looked like it had been renovated beautifully, with lots of character. It didn't disappoint. It is a really comfortable and cosy place to stay, with a real fire and a generous supply of logs. It was spotless. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Honeymoon Trip

Review Submitted: November 12, 2011 Date of Stay: August 2011
My husband and I stayed for a week at the Pump House while celebrating our honeymoon. I can't tell you how picture perfect it all was and what an unforgettable experience we had staying in the cottage. We definitely have memories that we will never forget!

Athy and the cottage are conveniently located to all major freeways, so we explored Ireland by car during the day, and enjoyed our nights at "home", relaxing and cooking dinner. The grounds are breathtaking as well and the family allows you to explore their land with cows, a donkey, horses and more, along with the beautiful river that runs through their property. James and Claudia even left us a surprise gift (champagne and flowers) for our special stay. I only hope we can visit again soon! Maybe for our 1st anniversary ;0)

We stayed at the pump house for the second time in the last few years. we would have to saw it was absolutely beautiful. claudia and james were so welcoming and an even nicer touch were the essentials for breakfast and of course the bottle of wine on arrival. we would reccomend this house for couples and the property was extremely clean and cosy.

Down on the Farm

Review Submitted: July 10, 2011 Date of Stay: June 2011
Very comfortable cottage for us. James and Claudia and children were so friendly and helpful. It was so quiet and didn't mind the rooster crowing early in the mornings. Thanks for a restful 5 days with you.
