Freindship in the West:
Have now lived in Ireland full time for over 6 years, Colin and Lyn can certainly see why people love coming here, it is to be one of the most beautiful places on earth, with tradition and friendship running right through it. the sceneray and history is amazing, especially in the West and Mayo which is our county. once you have booked Colin is always happy to supply you with details of music events locally, and help you plan your travelling routes around Mayo and the West. the West of Ireland has over 22 historic places and museums to visit, so even on rainy days there are places of great interest to see which are under cover. Off the coast are many islands which are well worth a visit, such as the Aran islands, Clare Island, Inishbofin and Achill island to name but a few, and are all within easy reach from the cottages.

Traditional music and dancing is still well alive in this part of Ireland with Fleadh's held in many towns throughout the summer months. local villages and towns have traditional music sessions in the pubs, and in fact we are involved with Colin playing regulary in Tourmakeady. Castlebar has a new large theatre which hosts many well known entertainers. also held in August is the Westport music festival with a host of varying musicians and its free.
