Unique stone farmhouse in scenic Wicklow mountains, private farmland, river
Totally rebuilt stone house on 12 acres of farmland,. Very comfortable, modern and bright home which retains a traditional feel. It looks across two valleys & has beautiful & ever-changing views, both of distant mountains and touch- close heather covered hills. The property is accessed up a short country lane & has its own private gated avenue. There is a stoned yard surrounding the house, with parking space. It has a large south facing veranda where one can spend time gazing into the distance & listening to the sounds of the countryside. At night the hum of the river gets louder and (weather permitting) you are guaranteed an incredible view of the night sky. This house and its idyllic setting will charm even the most jaded traveller. It is an ideal holiday location for nature lovers, hill walkers, writers & anyone who wants to get away from it all and simply enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside! Note : This property is for the use of paying guests only. Parties not allowed.

| Notes: | Children are welcome on the basis that they are properly supervised at all times. If you want a holiday where your children can experience everyday country life and enjoy the wonder of nature close up ,then this is the place to visit. The farm is home to a large variety of wildlife, rabbits, foxes, many varieties of small birds. Sheep and cattle, farm machinery cutting crops etc. The trails are great for exploring the common land and enjoying the huge range of flora & fauna that grows in the wild. Nowhere better on a clear night for young stargazers! This is an opportunity to educate your children in a relaxed way and enjoy a.most memorable family holiday. However if you just want to sit back and let the children run wild for a week, this house will not suit. Children would almost certainly need more careful watching than they would at home to ensure their own safety, and avoid damage to the proper. |
