Photos and Description of this County Galway holiday bungalow 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8 people

This delightful sixties bungalow is located on the Connemara coastline just outside the village of Spiddal and 15 miles from Galway City. Situated in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht, it gives you the opportunity to experience first hand the traditions and language of the Irish people. Cornarón, meaning the 'Corner of Seals' takes its name from the family of seals seen basking on the rocks nearby. The setting of the bungalow is breathtaking. As shown in the photographs, the bungalow commands magnificent views of the Aran Islands and the famous cliffs of Moher in County Clare. The house sleeps 8 and can easily accommodate two families. Central heating, ceramic tiled and wooden floors, sun room and games room make this your ideal vacation home. The spacious games room allows the children hours of fun in the evening time while the adults relax in the sun room, a glass of wine in hand while watching the sun go down o'er Galway Bay.

Fantastic views across Galway Bay

Review Submitted: October 27, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
We spent many an hour in the sun room overlooking Galway Bay and even though it was mid-October we had lovely weather too. The sandy beach is only 5 minutes' walk away. The local pub is a bit further, but just about walkable - though I'd recommend a torch for the journey back!
If you're looking for a 'luxury' cottage, you should pay a bit more and look elsewhere, but this particular cottage was warm, clean and comfortable and all 5 of us enjoyed our time there.
