The house is located in an area famous for golfing, fishing and walking. You may fish for Trout and Salmon in Caragh River ( with a local permit ) or without permit in Caragh Lake. There are some beautiful walks and cycle trails in the area-we would recommend stretches of the old Kerry Way. At least 10 GOLF courses are close by and horse riding is available locally.

    Our housekeeper cleans the house on Saturdays from top to bottom, therefore if you are staying for more than one week ( Saturday - Saturday ) she will change all the bedlinen and supply fresh towels.

This beautiful stone finished house, nesting on 1 acre of garden with palms, Rhodos and Camilias is surrounded by trees , and its lovely stone pillars with electric security gate give ultimate privacy. The interior is spacious with maple wooden flooring, main bedroom en suit, second bathroom off corridor. There are three very spacious bedrooms. The sitting room leading off the bright entrance hall is very inviting with its tasteful furnishings and open fireplace. The open plan kitchen with separate utility room offers a breakfast area seating 6, opening into a lovely dining area with open fireplace and seating for 10. The reading room offers cosy atmosphere and a big supply of books in English and German.

Extras

The kitchen has a full compliment of all house wares consisting of crockery, cutlery, saucepans, frying pans . In the pantry you will find all the essentials you need including spices, salt vinegar, tea, coffee and much more - help yourself and be kind enough to replace anything you use. Our drinks cabinet and wine rack are fully stocked and again you may help yourself - and again we ask you to replace what you have used. NOTE: Our housekeeper will meet you on arrival and show you all you need to know.

The house is fully equipped, including four direct dial telephones, TV / VCR, satellite, music centre, hair dryer, large fridges and freezers, dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, microwave, electric cooker and many more electric kitchen equipment.
