Part of a small exclusive development this rustic modern house is provided to cater for every need and convenience of the discerning holidaymaker. The property is open plan with classic wooden beams featuring throughout. There is an abundance of space with a sunroom opening out onto a patio with landscaped gardens. Architect designed with full interior package, Devi electric under floor heating system, fully equipped utility room, traditional country styled designed kitchen containing all Bosch electrical appliances. A spacious lounge with a large open slate fireplace and adjoining sunroom gives a homely and warm ambiance to the house. Nearest traditional Irish Pub (regular music/entertainment) is only 500 meters from the house 5 minutes walk. Center of village, all restaurants, pubs, shops, cafes etc less than 10 minutes walk 1000 meters. ***This property holds 'Failte Ireland' Tourism Development Authority 4 Star top rating, it has been inspected and approved 2008/9.***

Beaches and Scenery: There are several European 'Blue Flag' beaches within easy reach and Waterville beach is within one kilometer (1/2 a mile) from the house. The unspoilt rural Irish countryside is just outside the front door. The world heritage site 'The Skelligs Rock' with its ancient monastic settlement, is only a few miles off shore and is easily accessable with one of the many day trip local boat operators.

Astronomy: One Meade ETX-70AT Computerised Telescope, High resolution optics, adjustable tripod, Autostar- automatic celestial navigation and comprehensive operating instructions.

Hillwalking, Horse Riding and Watersports: Many local walks including the 'Kerry Way' are within easy access. There is an nearby equestrian center about 2 miles away with a full itennary available of lessons and local riding treks. Water sports are in abundance with local water sport adventure centers in Valentia, Ballinskelligs and Derrynane.

Golf: *******A follow up to the Ryder Cup 2006******* Two major championship golf courses in Waterville are within five minutes drive. A paradise for the active golfer, with the second golf course now playing at Waterville headland at a green fee of €70 Summer season. First full year opened 2006. Waterville championship Links course (Woods, Omeara members... their Irish training course annually prior to the British Open). Two full sets of men's golf clubs available for use by guests of the house, 1 Taylormade and 1 Cleevland TA 7s.

We had one of our best holidays in Waterville. Our family of four people (two adults and two young kids age 6 and 8) were very impressed with the design and beautiful wooden features of the house. The sunroom overlooked the garden and was great to monitor the kids playing outside during the day. The open turf fire in the evenings was a real luxury.

The scenery in the local area is absolutly stunning. The surrounding rugged mountains and sea nearby were ideal for walks, particularly on the beach. The nearby village is a gem. The local pubs, shops were all very friendly. We loved the farmers' market in Waterville and found the local meats and fish absolutly wondeful to cook and entertain with in the evening.

Kids loved going to the beach, picking shells, perry-winkles, local park, visiting the Kennedys farm in Killarney, the trip to the Aqua-dome in Tralee, even the trip to the local chocolate factory (Skellig choc).

Family friends joined us for the new year (similar family of 4), loads of space in the house, sun-room ajoining the sitting room is ideal for children to play indoors in the evening. Great resturaunts nearby, particularly seafood, some walking distance, also top class Waterville golf links we paid winter rate of only €50 per round.

The owner was terrific at recommending places to eat and even local babysitter for the kids, very grateful Mary. We will definitely return, maybe even during the summer this time.

This house is emaculate! Fully equipped, spacious, excellent location, owner was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this house to families or groups who enjoy good golf in Ireland. Walking distance to the downtown area. Thank you Mary O'Shea for an excellent vacation in Waterville!!!.

Das Haus ist optimal für 8 Personen. Die Ausstattung ist richtig gut, die Bäder sind neu und schön, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für große Kochorgien benötigt, der Garten ist riesig und die Kinder können wunderbar spielen. Wer dann noch gerne golfen geht, ist bestens aufgehoben
