Less than a mile from Harvey's Point Country Hotel and Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel. Ideal location for touring Donegal (Glenveagh National Park, Slieve League, Gartan Outdoor Activity Centre, Doag Famine Village) or Sligo (Rossespoint, May,June,Sept - €725 per week. The spacious holiday home is located on an elevated, woodland site overlooking Lough Eske & Harveys Point Country Hotel. It is less than a mile from Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel which will be Donegal's first five star Hotel and Spa. Donegal Town itself is 4 miles away. Visitors to Donegal Town will be able to see Donegal Castle and witness the world famous Donegal Tweed being created at Magee of Donegal on The Diamond. Donegal Golf Club, Murvagh is 7 miles away. This links course is isolated from the outside world by a forest of evergreens, washed on one side by the great Atlantic Ocean and with a panoramic view of the Bluestack Mountains. Murvagh & Rossnowlagh Beach are 15/20 minutes drive. Deane's Equestrian Centre is located at Bruckless which is less than 20 minutes away. City of Derry airport is 40 miles away, while Knock airport is approximately 70 miles. Belfast City & International airports are 80 miles away

The owners live less than a mile away and are able to offer advice on things to do locally. The property is ideal for those attending weddings or functions at the nearby Harveys Point Country Hotel or Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel. This house had absolutely loads of room for 8 adults and one toddler to spend a week - everything was perfectly clean and well-maintained with comfortable, solid furniture in every room, including a lovely bright conservatory opening to the outside picnic area - where we spent most of our time.

Very high standard accommodation - would highly recommend it.

Lovely Cottage and great views

The Cottage more than lived up to my expectations (and the other 6 people whio shared), very spacious (we all had our own bathroom!)and it was clean and the ideal location in terms of being as close to Harvey's point. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a lovely Sunday roast and even wood to get the fire going.

Donegal town was very close too and I would recommend the Harbour resturant as the food was very good and service excellent.

The views from the cottage were superb and Mairead popped in to welcome us and gave us some good ideas for where to go and see and great places to go off and get some good walking done!

I highly recommend the cottage.

Fantastic spacious clean house, just perfect for the 7 of us who needed to stay over for a wedding in Harveys Point, with room for more.
Very comfortable, and has all mod cons. Would have liked to have time to stay longer

lovely clean spacious house,beautiful and peaceful location just what we were all looking for and still only 4 miles from Donegal town and of course the weather was an added bonus! Harveys Point Hotel is only a 5 min drive away and sits overlooking the lough which was just so relaxing,will be back next year.
