Located in a peaceful and tranquil setting in County Kerry, with breathtaking views of Ballinskelligs Bay and Waterville, this beautiful self catering house has a wonderful sense of space and light. Situated on a secluded 1 acre site, the Red Cliff House is newly built and finished to a high standard with high ceilings in the hallway, living, dining and kitchen. Underfloor heating is installed throughout and each room is individually thermostatically controlled for your comfort. A spacious living and dining room commands panoramic views of Reenroe beach, Waterville and Ballinskelligs Bay while the kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances including a Rangermaster cooker. Two of the four bedrooms are ensuite while the large main bathroom has a whirlpool bath, walk in power shower and heated towel rail. Outside there is a lovely patio area and open veranda overlooking Reenroe beach and Ballinskelligs Bay. A perfect place to relax and unwind for all the family....

Reenroe and Ballinskelligs beaches are minutes away. Local attractions include the famous Skelligs Rock, the Cill Rialaig artists village and gallery, Skelligs Chocolate factory and the scenic Skelligs Ring drive. There is plenty of choice in the area for eating out and socialising. Red Cliff House is situated in a quiet and peaceful country side location with stunning sea views over the Ballinskelligs Bay area. It is the perfect location to relax and unwind and also has many facilities and aminities close by. Beaches, Water Sports, Fishing: There are several beaches within easy reach of Red Cliff House including Reenroe beach which is only one mile away. This beach is over a mile long and is great for walking, running, surfing, horse riding, fishing and swimming. Surfing classes are held regularly, weather permitting. Boats can be hired locally for sea angling.

Walking, Hill Walking, Cycling: There are many local walks and cycling routes of various levels and abilities, all with great views of the coutry side. Bicyles can be hired locally in Caherciveen. The Bolus Head walk in Ballinskelligs has fantastic views overlooking St. Finan’s Bay and the Skellig Rocks. Along the way you will visit the Cill Rialaig Famine Village, Cill Rialaig Artist’s Retreat, and the early Christian ruins of Cill Rialaig monastic settlement with Oratory. There are many other walks in the area, details of which are provided in the house and from the local tourist office.

Local Attractions and Eating Out: There is plenty to see and do locally. A trip to the world famous Skelligs Rock is a must and boats leave during the Summer months from Ballinskelligs and Portmagee. Visit Valentia Island to see the Slate Quarry, Grotto and Light House. Tour the Skellig Ring and the Ring of Kerry. Visit Skellig Chocolate factory in St. Finans Bay (The Glen). Cill Rialaig pre-famine village is located in Ballinskelligs and Cill Rialaig Art Gallery and Cafe is located in Dun Geagan village which is two miles away. You will be spoilt for choice if you wish to go hill walking or cycling and there are many archaeological sites of interest in the area. There are plenty of places to choose from for eating out from cafes to pub food to gourmet restaurants. Fresh seafood is a speciality. Golf: GOLF The local golf course is Waterville Links, only a short drive away.

This is a truly wonderful house that lives up to its advertising.

The rooms are spacious, the fittings and equipment of excellent quality and the view cannot be beaten.

For a large group it makes both a great base for exploring and is big enough to easily accommodate everyone if it happens to rain a little.

Our family of four had plenty of room in this wonderful home. We loved watching the ocean change with the weather and the time of day. The large windows in the living room give a panoramic view of this lovely setting. The house is modern and has a charming and well-equipped kitchen. The beds were most comfortable and the up to date bathrooms had all conveniences. It's the perfect place to discover the Ring of Kerry and to see the Dingle Peninsula as well as many charming nearby towns and nature destinations. Our contact, Brendan, was very helpful and accommodating. Perfect holiday!

The house was set in a perfect, peaceful location with outstanding views around the bay and was more than we expected from the website pictures. The house was in "as new" condition with plenty of room for everyone to relax, play, cook and eat. It was great to have our bikes as an alternative to the car as you are a distance from any shops or amenities. Would recommend the property without hesitation.
