Walks in Courtown Courtown offers many exciting and varied routes to discover including “The River Walk” which is accessed from both the Picnic area and the Car Park in Courtown Village. The top walk, accessed from the picnic area, overlooks the river walks in places. A short hiking path to 'Spike Bridge', allows for crossing to the Coillte wood on the north side of the River. The Top walk is particularly magnificent in April as Large drifts of bluebell carpet the woodland floor.
