“Gli Amica del Conte” in Roncagli is situated beside the river and offers light Ligurian cooking from home made pasta to fresh fish and meat, the restaurant is beautifully decorated with a pleasant atmosphere and occasional live music.

The Hanbury Garden at the Villa Hanbury.
Cervo: A small town whose church is its landmark. The town nestles picturesquely in the countryside and invites one to a walk through its narrow and winding streets and visit one of the idyllic bars and restaurants. In the old town you can purchase crafts and antiques. Cervo is famous for its chamber music concerts which are of an international standard. Bussana Vecchia which is known as the “artists village” is a place where you can also buy works of art and antiques.
Mulini di Triora the witches village is good for hill walking and you can visit a Badaluco, a typical Ligurian village where on can also go hill walking and looking around.
Dolceaqua an old Ligurian village that is decorated with flowers, its landmark being the bridge over the river.
The grotto of Toirano is one of the largest in Europe.
The aquarium in Genoa is less well known but spectacular.

Events:
Throughout the year the small villages of Liguria put on a number of festivals. From the dance festival of Ballö Lisco to culinary evenings specialising in mussels, snails, polenta, etc.
Contact to the local culture is guaranteed and the normally reserved Ligurians show themselves after the first glass of the local wine more worldly and friendly than one would have expected at the beginning of the evening.
