Colleta nestles between the foothills of the Italian Alps and the Mediterranean coast where you are perfectly situated to explore this beautiful area. Restaurant and bar/cafe on site + superb swimming pool and sauna and only 15 minutes to the vibrant towns and beaches of Alassio and Albenga. 30 minutes to the fashionable busy San Remo.30 minutes to largest golf course .30-60 minutes to a number of ski resorts.Properties are beautifully designed with ultra modern facilites Cots can be supplied. beautiful 2 bedroom property renovated to very high standard 2006. 2 bedrooms sleeping 5 in total. 1 bedroom double bed and ensuite facilities with second bedroom 3 singles which can be made into another double bed again with ensuite facilities. Sitting room with lovely leather sofa, chair and leather bean bag sculpting into a chair. Full indoor kitchen and cooking facilites with outdoor dining table in own private garden with the most stunning views of the mountains.all windows have mountain views. 2 tiers below sits the communal swimming pool. TV, free broadband, satellite with good choice of UK speaking channels, printer. dvd,cd player.

General information:

Colletta has been restored to an extremely high level taking it back to its 12th century roots. This means that most walking surfaces are uneven and you will need to be able-footed. Within its restoration high speed internet and satellite links have been incorporated. Once you park your car you will approach Colletta by foot (only a couple of minutes walk). Flat shoes are required and luggage will need to be compact to enable you to navigate your way to your apartment. There is an open air theatre for the summer period with jazz/classical concerts. Opening of pool is May 16th sometimes slightly earlier closing September 16th A separate laundry room with 4 good sized washing machines and 2 industrial sized dryers are located close to the apartments

Exploring:

The Italian Riviera offers a great deal to the people who like to be active. There are many areas to visit some listed on the previous pages but further down you are abel to visit the famous and exclusive Portofino,Tthe deligtful town of Santa Margarita and the beautiful Cinque Terre villages only accessible by foot or boat. Coletta is truly italian and welcome children with open arms in fact the first child in something like 80 years has just been born here to everyones delight.

Very nice, quiet accomodation with excellent view

We stayed in the estate a few weeks back and we were very pleased with it. Best for families with children. Private parking and clean apartments with aircon. No WiFi available. Very kind and helpful residents. Nice location to travel along the coast of Liguria and visit France. All in all very good value for money.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Amazing

Location and accommodation stunning, plenty to amuse the whole family for the week. Welcome from staff warm and helpful. Great proximity to gorgious pool. Peaceful and relaxing. Lots of walking opportunities. Fantastic weather all week. My only critiscism would be lack of a small shop or bakery within the village which we could walk to - essential to stock up on supplies prior hitting the mountain - in our case from the Co-op in Albenga which was amazing, which the owner very kindly pre-warned us about. We really enjoyed to appartment for self-catering - facilities excellent, backed up by the village "Bar" - a friendly and relaxed meeting place at all times of the day.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
