Beautiful, modern, spacious and child friendly apartment with two large bedrooms, sleeps up to 6. Shared pool in summer months (July - September) and your own private garden area for BBQ and sunbathing. Fully functional kitchen, stereo, CD player, DVD player and a large selection of films. BBQ and sun loungers are available for use. Kayaks aslo available .Own underground parking space. Stunning views of the Lake Como and surrounding mountains.

An area of natural beauty, 10 minutes drive up from the lake. Very typical Italian village with wonderful views of Lake Como. Lovely walks from the apartment and ideal for mountain biking. A variety of watersports on the lake and a sandy beach to swim and sunbathe are also nearby. Milan can be reached by train in 40 minutes from Colico Station (10 minute drive away).

Skiing: Ski fields at Medisemo and St Moritz are about an hour and an hours drive respectively. Livigno skiing is about 2 and half hours drive and is a tax free region.

Eating Out: There are many fantastic places to eat down at the Lake front at Domaso, Gravedonna and Gera Lario nearby

Lake Travel: You can take a boat ride to Mennagio, Bellagio or Como every day

Fabulous location, the drive up to the apartment spectacular not for the light hearted though! The apartment was great - very spacious, well presented with modern decor and a fantastic fully equipped kitchen. Both the lounge and kitchen opened up onto a lovely terraced garden area, with the latter leading to the communal swimming pool. Freindly neighbours also. The owner had left lots of info about lake como and the surrounding areas which was very useful, as well as, a guest book for all guests to leave feedback and recommendations for future guests which was also very useful. The only issue i had with the apt was that it was advertised as child freindly - i travelled with my 2 year daughter and as the apt is on 3 floors there are lots of marble stairs to climb. Although my daughter managed the stairs ok, i think it would be a problem for younger children. However there was a stair gate in the apt to use.
Overall the apt and location was great and would recommend the property to future guests.
