A new apartment with wonderful lake views from both bedrooms, the living room and the garden terrace. It is one of four and is situated in a quiet hamlet above the lake with a private parking space. The local shop is 100 yards away and there are many restaurants nearby. The apartment has a spacious living room with light and airy furniture including stereo and TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area as part of the living room. There is a separate bathroom on the ground floor with washing machine and a storage room. Patio doors lead onto a garden terrace with beautiful lake views. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, 1 double with balcony overlooking the lake. The second bedroom has a lake view and contains 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath, shower, WC, bidet and washbasin. There is full central heating and double glazing throughout.

In the small town of Musso the apartment is in an elevated position commanding lovely views of the lake and mountains. There is a small ferry terminal at Musso and a larger one a short distance away in Dongo. Ideal for taking in the sites by by the leisurely slow ferry, or the hydrofoil for more rapid movement up and down the lake. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. A particular favourite is a short walk down a footpath through fields to the lake shore. A bit steep on the way back, but worth the effort. History abounds in the many lakeside towns and villages. This is a very 'Italian' area, something of a jewel, a secret kept to the Italians themselves. You will always get a warm welcome, especially if you can trot out a few basic lines of Italian. Further afield are Lugano (1hour), St Moritz (1.5 hour),Milan (1.5 hour) and Verona (2 hours). Fantastic walking country is on your doorstep and at this end of the lake there is a full choice of watersports.

Perfect for anyone who like a quiet place with space/room and close to nature. You have have everything you need for a pleasant stay. This even with two small kids.

We were at the apartment just 2 days and really did not want to leave it. Keith is very good owner and housekeeper. There is everything you need in apartment. The flat is very bright, clean and modern. On the ground floor there is a large terrace with BBQ, table, two chaise longue. on the first floor there is a balcony from the bedroom. From the terrace and balcony and from another window there is a really fantastic view on the lake and hills. The town around is very silent. It is the place for complete relaxation after a big cities noise. We were with two small children. it is also a very safe place for staying with children. And very healthy because of air.

Cozy place with fantastic view over the lake Como

We spent an excellent week in late June. Every thing inside and outside the house was nicely taken care of. Things were clean and tidy. The garden was well maintained. One would definitely enjoy sitting in the terrace and enjoying the view over the lake Como. Lot of "nice to have" things were provided, for example, movies on DVDs, audio CDs, maps, essentials like salt/oil/pepper etc., I even found shaving foam just in case one would forget to bring his own.

Car is needed. Lugano is one hour drive. Cadenabbia/Tremezzo is about half an hour. There are ample of boat rides to go to Bellagio or Varenna. On your way from Musso to Cadenabbia you will find a lot of nice restaurants that you can try on different days.

We indeed had a fabulous vacation! And I would definitely recommend this as a nice place to stay.

Most Beautiful Location-Fantastic Accomodations

Outstanding views-quiet location.

Driving distance to St. Moritz or to Como and Bellagio.Heaven on earth.

The groundskeeper is a very friendly and helpful man. The apartment is well stocked and perfect for a small family. The patio and gardens are ideal for quiet time.
