Zocca D’Oli is a unique and sought after location set on the mountainside of Sala Comaçina and is an ideal base from which to explore the wonders of Lake Como. Como itself has a micro climate providing Mediterranean summers and mild mountain winters. Sala Comaçina further accentuates the quality of this climate and is best known for the production of olive oil along with its neighbouring village of Lenno, where one of the most northerly produced olive oils can be found. This luxury apartment boasts panoramic views o the Lake and of the historic Isola Sala Comaçina – a superb place only accessed by traditional lake boat and is a truly amazing setting to enjoy a wonderful and entertaining meal.

Lake Como (Lago di Como) is one of the famous Italian Lakes destinations, not far from Milan in the north of Italy. Lake Como is long (50km), slender and extremely deep. The picturesque town of Bellagio is situated 30 minutes from Sala Comacina by car and ferry, Mennagio is 15 minutes by car. Visitors ever since the Romans have admired the blue waters and relaxed in luxurious villas in the wooded lakeside slopes above. Today, most of the towns around the shores of Lake Como are popular with tourists, walkers, cyclists and swimmers. Como - 20 minutes from the apartment is a lively and pleasant town with an appealing historical centre and a scenic location at the southern end of the east branch of Lake Como. There is an impressive cathedral (Duomo). The famous motor racing circuit of Monza is an hours drive from Sala. Skiing in Madesimo is one and a quarter hours drive, St Moritz is two hours drive. Lugano can be reached in an hour.

Refunds will be given for cancellations of up to 8 weeks before departure - thereafter no refund will be made.

Fun time in Como!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this accommodation and we had a great time. It was so easy to find being just along the lake road from Como itself. Situated high on the hillside we were amazed at the stunning view the apartment offers. We were lucky with the weather and our two children enjoyed both swimming in the pool (on the complex) and the lake. We dined out most evenings in the various restaurants nearby and we all ate extremely well. We found the rooms comfortable and of a good standard, we found the people in the other apartments to be extremely friendly. We will certainly look to return, as a more idyllic location would be hard to find.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

A great apartment with plenty of space and excellent facilities. A lovely setting with great views. We had a most enjoyable week there with our children. Plenty to see and do.

Fab property, Swimming pool is great. Our family of five were rattling around there is so much room in the Villa which had every facility we needed. Being so close to Lake Como was also a huge advantage with the artificial beach there being a huge hit with our sons. Great shops and restaurants close by and in the area. Truly fantastic holiday.

We had a lovely holiday in your apartment. It was a pleasure to wake up in the morning and take in the wonderful views across the lake. Easy access for the ferry to get around the lake. Good local restaurants.
