Located on the sunny Western shore Tremezzo is one of Lake Como's main destinations. On arrival you will be welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and guided around the apartment and the facilities available to you. The nearby gardens and art treasures of Villa Carlotta are world famous especially for the spectacular display of Azaleas and sub tropical plant species. Local mountains offer easy panoramic walks and viewpoints especially the views offered from San Martino. My wife, daughter and I stayed in Apt Grigna in early June 2007.
The property is exactly as described in the descriptions and photos.
The owners are very pleasant and the restaurant is excellent.
We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this property.

Breathtaking!!

We stayed in apartment Crocione which we could not fault. The view from the balcony was amazing and at night, truly magical.
Luca, Adriano and Cheryl are genuinely friendly hosts who not only make you feel very welcome but also special.
The food in Al Veluu restaurant s delicious, all local produce, a lot of which is grown by Luca.
A week wasn't enough. We definitely will return.

What a view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Although it rained most of the time we were in Como, it was nice to have a place to relax with wonderful views and a warm fire. The apartment was very clean and modern.

The owner recommended a fabulous restaurant (La Fagurida) that was within walking distance. We liked it so much, we ate there both nights.

Stunning views

We stayed at this apartment, for a week, early in the summer. Whilst in most respects it is a lovely place – quality furnishings, perfectly clean, fabulous views etc – we did feel that for a luxury apartment a few corners had been cut. The kitchen utensils were rather sparse, there were no ‘welcome’ food items (bread/cheese/milk, for example, would have been nice), and the balcony chairs had definitely seen better days! These are, I realise, minor details and perhaps hardly worth a mention, however, it is often the extra touches which make the greatest impact. Overall the apartment is exceptionally well done, and you would struggle to beat those views.

So wonderful in every way

My partner, Kevin, and I have just spent THE most relaxing week in apt. Grigna. We receiced a very warm welcome from Lucca and Cheryl who proved to be wonderful and charming hosts. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything necessary for a self-catering holiday.
Although we only ate once at the restaurant Al Velu, it was a perfect evening. We found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the splendid views from our balcony where we spent many happy hours chatting, reading and simply enjoying our time there. I hope we didn't seem too reclusive, but we were just very contented!
On our next visit we may be a little more active and venture beyond Tremezzo, Menaggio, Belaggio etc., but maybe not... so long as we go back, I dont really mind. Hopefully, our next visit will be for longer.
