Being the apartment close to the railway station and ferry you can easily visit the lake most beautiful places and move to towns without a car is needed. Also shops, banks, restaurants and pharmacy are very close to it. Varenna was a village of fishermen in the ancient times and the main activity in the Riva Grande was the famous Varenna black marble working. Though houses have been restored since then, the village has kept its original nature offering a fascinating atmosphere.
