The apartment is very stylish and spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome pack with local wines and a complimentary drinks tray. The bookshelves with lots of holiday reading was a welcome sight and satellite TV/DVD's in case we wanted a lazy evening in. The pool was really warm and the jacuzzi was fun especially sitting with a chilled prosecco!
The huge bed was very comfortable and it was lovely to have crisp starched sheets changed twice a week. We needn't have bothered bringing lots of things we had packed as there was shower gel, loo rolls kichen rolls, washing up liquid, sponges, hair dryer and they were all replenished twice weekly.
The kitchen was really well equipped and as I am a keen cook this was much appreciated as well as the lovely barbecue area supplied with charcoal, lighter and tools all ready to go and even fresh herbs.
The apartment is in a beautiful spot with south facing views over a valley and you can see as far as the Mountains in Abruzzo on a clear day. Although you feel in the heart of the country it isn't too isolated though and it is surprising how quickly you can drive from rural bliss to the shops and to go exploring.
The helpful owners were always happy to answer questions and book restaurants for us and they provided a useful file of recommended restaurants with prices and notes about theor specialities; also a huge pile of tourist brochures.
There is so much to do and places to visit that we barely scratched the surface in just a week so we will definitely come back.
