The one apartment, beautifully situated with South facing private terrace, heated pool with jacuzzi (heated May - Sept). The pool is uncrowded as we have only one apartment so most of the time you will have it all to yourself. The open plan living area has satellite TV/DVD. Kitchen has frig/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine etc. Mountain bikes and gym are free for use of guests. The stylish accommodation has a 7 foot circular bed on the sleeping gallery just right for a romantic escape. There is an outdoor dining table with comfortable chairs, sun loungers, hammock and own barbecue. It is suitable for guests with allergies as it is non smoking and no pets, with microfiber low allergen pillows, leather upholstery, tiled floors and is immaculately clean.

La Serendipita is in beautiful countryside midway between Corridonia and Petriolo, 2 charming historic hilltop villages. We are centrally situated for exploring the unspoilt Marchigiana countryside with its wealth of historic sites, markets, museums and local festivals. There are excellent restaurants with 5 minutes and a gastronomia with delicious local delicacies for when you fell like eating in but don't want to cook. Local markets sell ultra fresh seasonal produce at extremely reasonable prices. There is also an excellent wine shop nearby.23 Blue flag beaches are within easy reach - highest in all Italy. We have stunning views over open countryside but yet are easily accessible with a well maintained access road. There is a multitude of day or shorter trips for you to explore from the coast to the mountains; it is possible to visit Assissi as a day trip or just dawdle round the many markets in our beautiful historic hill top medieaval towns and villages.

Windows are triple glazed and the roof is highly insulated for all year round comfort. Bed linen is changed twice weekly.

Late arrivals: If you are arriving late, we are happy to do some shopping for you, so you have something for supper waiting for you you when you arrive. All you need to do is email your requirements minimum 24 hours before your arrival

Early departures: For guests leaving early in the morning we offer complimentary coffee and cake/biscuits before you leave so you don't have to make breakfast.

EARTHQUAKE: The recent tragic earthquake in neighbouring Abruzzi has not affected our area and everything is as normal

Other Activities: Cookery courses are available nearby. A little further away are paragliding, skiing and hot air ballooning.

everything we wanted - and more

The apartment is very stylish and spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome pack with local wines and a complimentary drinks tray. The bookshelves with lots of holiday reading was a welcome sight and satellite TV/DVD's in case we wanted a lazy evening in. The pool was really warm and the jacuzzi was fun especially sitting with a chilled prosecco!
The huge bed was very comfortable and it was lovely to have crisp starched sheets changed twice a week. We needn't have bothered bringing lots of things we had packed as there was shower gel, loo rolls kichen rolls, washing up liquid, sponges, hair dryer and they were all replenished twice weekly.
The kitchen was really well equipped and as I am a keen cook this was much appreciated as well as the lovely barbecue area supplied with charcoal, lighter and tools all ready to go and even fresh herbs.
The apartment is in a beautiful spot with south facing views over a valley and you can see as far as the Mountains in Abruzzo on a clear day. Although you feel in the heart of the country it isn't too isolated though and it is surprising how quickly you can drive from rural bliss to the shops and to go exploring.
The helpful owners were always happy to answer questions and book restaurants for us and they provided a useful file of recommended restaurants with prices and notes about theor specialities; also a huge pile of tourist brochures.
There is so much to do and places to visit that we barely scratched the surface in just a week so we will definitely come back.

Idyllic holiday location

This property certainly lived up to its description, the flat was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped. The heated pool was wonderful, and the surrounding garden was full of colour and fragrance. The views over the surrounding countryside were stunning; on every hill top there was an ancient walled town, with interesting old buildings worth visiting. The owners made us very welcome, and helped us make the most of our short stay in this (to us) new part of Italy. We shall definitely return.

Top hospitality and relaxing tranquility

This was our first visit to the Marche and what a glorious part of Italy it is – still not over-run by tourists and life still very ‘authentic’. Casa Serendipita is a wonderful base from which to explore the area and itself lies in a tranquil area. The apartment is extremely well equipped by someone who knows what guests will need, and if anything is missing, the owners, Carole and Brian, are receptive to any suggestions. Without Carole’s advice and good counsel we would have undoubtedly missed many of the fascinating markets, towns and, above all, glorious restaurants where we were able to enjoy excellent food at affordable prices! A big thank you to both of them for helping make our stay so memorable.

An Italian Gem!

This apartment is first class, spotlessly clean and chic. Just heaven to have clean sheets 3 times during our stay!!!
It is really well equipped, right down to the picnic set. Everything that you need to feel at home has been provided and the welcome pack of wine, milk, water etc was an added bonus. The good selection of books came in very handy along with all the information about the area.The views from the balcony and pool area are just stunning and the pool is warm and clean. Now enough about the apartment, it was the exceptional kindness of the owners that made the holiday for us. We have never been so well looked after or spoilt on holiday ! On our anniversary we had bubbly in the jacuzzi, and because we were a bit unlucky with the weather we were given an extra bottle of wine! Nothing was too much trouble, from booking restaurants to being the guide to get to the market. I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to experience the non tourist area of Italy where you get good value for money from shoes to great restaurants.Keep up the good work you lovely people!
