“Le Querce”is superb, family own country house attached to 2acr of enclosed land. In recent years it has been renovated by the owners for their personal use to its current high standard & comfort. Wonderful furniture & an old-date memorabilia add to its distinctive character. Tastefully decorated & specious living/dinning room, kitchen & adjacent lavatory occupy ground floor. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, shower/toilet room & large communal area superbly utilized as an extra sitting room.Large porch provides an ideal space for al fresco dinning(wooden table sits 12) & relaxation.It accommodates a tennis table, too.For our young guests,we have a wooden play house with its hand-made furniture & nearby swings.Glorious swimming pool comes with shower/toilet & changing room.Next to it,originally furnished pool house offers a great escape from the direct sun.”Le Querce'is perfect for families with children or groups of friends seeking great holidays in a private & very comfortable settings.

Near by,worth visiting are an archaeological sites of the Roman Age along with buildings and castles of the Medieval Period (6th and 7th Century).Summer is rich in many events including festivals, historical commemorations, open air Opera and sporting competitions which allows the tourist to become acquainted with the popular traditions of the zone. In Serrapetrona (4km) they produce many particular sweets as well as a well known Spumante (Vernaccia di Serrapetrona) which has the D.O.C.G guarantee of quality. Being just 40-50 minutes away by car from both the mountains and the sea leaves you with a wide range of possible excursions- there are many leaflets and local maps to help you plan.

Notes: The pool is 10 x 5 metres. The shallow end is 1.20m and the deep end is 2.10m. For those who enjoy outdoor activities there is lawn croquet with its full equipment. The kitchen has a four ring stove and the oven is an electric portable type which cooks everything from cakes and roast meats to vegetables, fish and etc. There is also a toaster. Sleeping options are variable. You can have 6 single beds and 1 double bed OR 4 single beds and 2 double beds Three rooms can have 2 singles in each and one room can have 1 double. OR two rooms can have 2 singles in each and the other two rooms can have a double bed in each.

Guest Book:: Sept 2008 - We had a dream holiday at Le Querce, and le Marche has exceeded our expectations by a very long way. We have been very touched by the friendliness and hospitality offered to us by Fernando and Elisabetta. Le Querce is a wonderful house in a perfect, quiet setting - it more than met our needs. Now we return to grey and rainy England, but the memories of all the remarkable and wonderful places we've visited, and the hot, sunny weather we've enjoyed will remain with us always, Mille grazie e arrivederci.
