The cottage “Il Frutteto” is located on the Monte Vidon Combatte estate which can be found in the heart of the Aso Valley (part of the province of Ascoli Piceno in the region of Le Marche) offering wonderful views across the whole mountain valley close to both the Adriatic coast and Mount Sibillini National Park. These completely restored and furnished country houses, surrounded by divine orchards, offer gorgeous apartments equipped with all the home comforts. Each apartment has living room, a furnished kitchen, a bathroom with shower and some with some in-built spas The country house has outdoor pool, barbeque, tennis – court, and bike which welcomes the opportunity for potential outdoor enjoyment options.

The cottage 'Il frutteto' is located on a top of the hill surrounded by orchards. Near the cottage you can reach beautiful medieval towns in the plenty of the countryside still unknown by mass- tourism where you can taste the speciality of the Marche wine and cuisine with incredible prices! The ancient roman city of Fermo with its astonishing square is 20 minutes left. If you love the sea you can admire just in 30 minutes the seaside of San Benedetto del Tronto with its 3000 palm trees. Above all, remember the words of Financial Times about marche:' Le marche the last undiscovered region of Italy, the Tuscany of the future, to which Britons and Americans will lose their harts. To go there is to escape the rat race and rejoin humanity. I am struck by the warmth of the Marchegiani. They are little wary at first meeting, perhaps but once they accept you fill you made friends for life. Romanesque churches and fortified medieval hill villages ravish the eye and raise the spirit'

Perfect place for a holiday.

We spent a wonderful three weeks in the lower appartement of Il Frutteto and loved every minute of it. Luigi, the owner, was always willing to give any information we needed. The appartement was spacious, the water was hot, the garden very nice and the swimming pool relaxing. The sea within 20 minutes, the beautiful mountains (don't forget to go to Lago di Fiastra) within drivin' distance, the old villages and the friendly people makes this location a perfect spot for your holiday. We had nothing to complain about.

Hospitality alone worth the money!

The fact that we have stayed at Il Frutteto twice speaks volumes about this property. The host Luigi cannot do enough to help. We have found the property to be as described in the advert and is certainly comparable, in terms of standard, to other rental properties in the area. The swimming pool overlooks a beautiful valley and the garden is ideal for eating al fresco. For children, the grounds are safe and spacious. For tennis lovers, there is a court, albeit this is not located on the same site, The court can be reached within a few minutes; the views from which are spectacular.

We found the property owners to be flexible with regard to arrival and departure times, duration of stay and very communicative to minimise the stresses associated with going on holiday!

The Marche region of Italy offers a true taste of traditional, rural Italian living.

We found the property to be good value for money and are sure we will visit again.

Not a comfortable rental at all. Poor cutlery, no microwave, no correct lighting, no carpets, awful beds, very sharp stairs, hardly any hot water, uncomfortable furniture,. All togheter poor appleances.
The garden has no trees, no flowers. The swimming pool IS nice, but too far away from the apartment so it is difficult to eat outside.
All together to all of you, friends and people wanting to spend a lovely holiday I warn you, D'ont go!

Ich hatte das Haus gebucht, bevor ich die Bewertungen las und dachte: "oh,je" !!! Aber:
Es ist wirklich sehr schön dort. Der Besitzer Luigi pflegt das Anwesen und ist sehr diskret mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle. Vielen, vielen Dank nochmals. Die Ausstattung ist absolut korrekt und praktisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren sogar 6 Personen in der Wohnung. Die Landschaft und die Ruhe sind wunderbar. Der Pool und der Garten haben viel Platz zum relaxen und spielen. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort für den Urlaub. Schade, dass es hier in der Bewertung so unfaire Meinungen gibt !!!
