In Le Marche, halfway between the mountains and the sea (25 minutes), the casetta adjoins our farmhouse with wonderful views of mountains and medieval villages.in a very peaceful area. The large swimming pool (12m) is set in an orchard again with all round views and is shared only with us. The independent casetta was recently converted and is spacious and well equipped for year round living - cool in summer & warm in winter. The bedrooms are generous and the living area is relaxed in summer and cosy in the cooler seasons with a large log fire and central heating throughout. There is a private terrace with shady pergola and barbeque for outdoor meals & full use of the gardens with lounger’s & casual seating to relax & admire the views. Good local restaurants abound & walking is available straight from your door or in the Sibillini Mountains with the beaches & fish restaurants of the coast a short drive away - charming & magical accommodation.

The Casetta is in the rolling hilly country between four medieval hill-top villages. Our nearest town is Fermo with its summer antique market every Thursday evening. We are between Macerata (famous for its international opera festival) to the north and Ascoli Piceno to the south: both fascinating ancient towns, not forgetting Offida, a centre of the wines produced in the area. The often snow clad mountains, the Monti Sibillini, part of the Appenines can be seen from the Casetta and can be reached within 45 minutes and the pleasant resorts of Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso with their wide choice of beach side fish restaurants are within 25 minutes.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 20% deposit ( per weeks rental) with booking and remainder is 6 weeks before start of rental period. By arrangement we would be willing to let the Casetta for minimum stay of 3 days (ie long weekend) in Autumn, Winter or Spring. For the Christmas and New Year Period there is a supplement of £100 per week.

Notes: Large spacious pool is only shared with the owners, and includes solar shower and lounging areas as well as use of the orchard garden.,with many fruit trees, olives, vines and flowers. There is a pergola by the pool for shade, and parasols. The living area is comfortable and relaxed and cosy in the winter months with its large log fire and central heating. A washing machine and sink is provided in the utility room.,which is also useful for storage.

THE place to relax in beautiful Le Marche (Italy)

We spend 2 weeks in june 09 at this lovely house. Finely a place and surroundings where you get what is promissed. In reality the place is even nicer then on the pictures. No traffic, no trains etc, just amazing views on the Sibili Mountains, hills with sunflowers and tranquility. The property was clean, cosy, had nice gardens and a lovely (big) good maintained pool ! Also important; very comfortable beds.The owners, Madeleine and David must had have a training in customer service:
they are always willing to help and respect your privacy. They have a good knowledge about the surroundings and have good tips for exploring the area. Location is good: 45 minutes to Sibili mountains, in the direct surroundings little villages with restaurants and shops, 25 minutes from the sea.Short message to Madeleine and David :Thanks again for your hospitality and the eveningdiner at the Pizzeria !

Three of us enjoyed our comfortable stay in quiet, beautiful surroundings. The weather was perfect for walking directly from the house; we spent a day on the nearby beach; a day in Ascoli Piceno visiting the shops, restaurants, churches and museums. We did a lot of sitting out on the terrace and had all our meals outside. The pool was a delight to return to after our long walks. The garden is a delight and Madeleine's knowledge of Mediterranean plantings impressive. We were made very welcome by Madeleine and Tony and would love to return.

Perfect place to relax

We spent a perfect two weeks in a wonderful area with lovely hosts. It seemed like paradise to all of us. Very relaxing as quiet, but plenty to see even just from the house with the pool. Like this we didn't feel tempted to leave every day - even having 3 children along. Tony and Madeleine find the perfect mix of welcoming, entertaining (we'll for sure never forget our first teaparty ever, thank you so much!), sharing their lives and thoughts and leaving you privacy. We experienced great hospitality, felt like friends and were sad to leave. That for we hope to come back soon, there is plenty to see we didn't make this time. Miss these starting of the day in the beautiful garden, looking at the landscape with the sunflowerfields, all the geometric patterns in the fields. Life is good! We keep very good memories that will brighten less sunny days. The only drawback is: sharing our good experience we might run into trouble if we want to rent again as others will discover this great place, too.

This is a peaceful, charming property in beautiful surroundings, tucked away in a quiet hillside. It has the best of both worlds, nestled in the country and 20 minutes from a gorgeous sandy beach. Madeleine and Tony are great hosts and cannot do enough for you, the lovely cassata has everything you could need and if it hasn't madeleine has.It is spacious , well maintained and decorated and very clean. Outside is a lovely patio area with views all round , and a lovely swimming pool. There are some wonderful villages in the area to visit all with views to die for. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a tranquil, peaceful retreat. We hope we can get back there one day.

We had an absolutely wonderful family holiday in the cassetta, with its most attractive garden and swimming pool. The countryside and nearby villages are peaceful and delightful, the sea is half an hour’s drive away, and the food in the many of the village restaurants is excellent. What more could anyone want!
