Il Casale is located in the unspoilt region of Le Marche, bordering on Umbria and Tuscany. It is close to the picturesque village of Colmurano, where you can pick up basic groceries, enjoy a drink at the bar and sample the fabulous pizzas and local specialities—boar and truffles—or even join in with the many colourful festivals. Set between the Adriatic coast which offers the best of Italian beach life—watersports, chic towns and seafront restaurants—and the rugged beauty of the Sibilini National Park. There is something for everyone: archaeological sites a plenty, nights at open-air operas and concerts, days out spent swimming and boating in a fresh water lake, not forgetting skiing in the winter months.

Colmurano : Il Casale is ideally situated in the beautiful region of Le Marche. Set among rolling hills and green valleys, it is just 3km from small hilltop town of Colmurano with its beautiful square and wonderful restaurant. As well as relaxing by the pool, you can plan day trips to the beaches on Italy's Adriatic coast, swim in the cool waters of Lake Fiastra, or go walking in the Sibilini National Park. There is even a ski resort in nearby Sarnano for winter visitors.

Outside Colmurano: 30 minutes by car and you can be in the mountains (Sarnano - thermal baths and skiing centre), or by the seaside (Civitanova- Conero Riviera). Also accessible are: Frasassi Caves, Recanati (native city of G. Leopardi), Macerata (Opera Festival), Loreto, Camerino, Assisi, Perugia, Roma.

Ski: The Sarnano resort is about 30 minutes away

Golf: The beautiful Conero Golf Club is about an hour away.
