Casa Julia set in the midst of beautiful Italian countryside - yet only approx. 27 km (1/2 hour) away from the sea. The villa provides flexible and comfortable accommodation for groups or families. With two adjacent apartments, it possible to enjoy your holiday with friends and family but at the same provides your own private space. Casa Julia stands on a hill with 360 degrees of unspoilt views over the rolling landscape of Le Marche - on clear days you can see the Adriatic Sea. This perfectly reconditioned country house has a well-maintained garden and a swimming pool with Roman steps. Casa Julia is available for holiday lets the whole year round. The main house can accommodate up to six people, with three large bedrooms, a separate TV area and two bathrooms. The two adjacent apartments each can accommodate two people, and have their own bathroom and kitchen area. Outside there is an 10x4 metre swimming pool with shaded and sun terraces.

Not to be missed is the cathedral which was built on the site of a 3rd Century BC temple dedicated to Venus and is an ornate blend of Byzantine, Roman and Gothic styles. Personal experience of the shops leads me to believe that this is the cheapest city in Italy.

Notes: The main house of Casa Julia consists of 2 double bedrooms and a large bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a full bathroom with bath and separate shower on the first floor and another bathroom with shower on the ground floor. There are two seating areas - one on each floor, including a large kitchen/diner. Casa Julia also has 2 self-contained apartments each with their own Bathroom with shower, kitchen and seating area. There is a good sized garden with panoramic views and swimming pool. The pool is open from 1st June to 30th September.

Car: A car is necessary as the local shops are approx. 3 kms away.

Grotti di Frasassi. (Caves): Make for the plunging Frasassi Gorge for a 'journey to the centre of the Earth' through the Grotte di Frasassi, one of Italy's largest and most famous complex of caves.

Ski: In less than 1 hour you can reach some marvelous skiing around Monte Sibillini (small, but a great skiing area).

Golf: Golf is available near Casa Julia. From the main coastal road take the south Ancona exit: Gulf club Conero Sirolo, via Betellico 6; Greenfee approx. 35-40 euros; payable all year round, 18 & 9 hole courses.

Other Activities: Water Park - 5 minutes from the house.
