Set upon the hillside of Montalto Tarugo overlooking rolling hills of olive groves, vineyards & grain fields, Ca le Cerque provides a relaxing holiday retreat for families & friends. Panoramic views take in the sea at Fano & the mountain peaks of Monte Catria. The home occupies the whole of the top floor of the house with its own covered patio & accommodates up to six people in two double bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom, & a twin bedroom with bunk beds. Large oak trees welcome guests into the landscaped gardens of fragrant roses, mature trees and a pond. All outdoor areas can be used for relaxing in the shade, sunbathing & dining. Isola di Fano, a few minutes away, is the local village for necessities. The property is well situated for hiking, trips to the beach or to heritage hill towns like Urbino. Market day is Monday in Fossombrone, ten minutes away, and Fano on the coast is famous for its seafood & antiques markets. Arezzo in Tuscany & Gubbio in Umbria are a short drive away.

Notes to the rental rates

• Cot and high chair provided but please bring own bedding for cot. A deposit amounting to 20% of the total booking is required at reservation, payable by credit card via PayPal. The remaining rental fee is due in cash on arrival plus a 300 euro security deposit that will be returned to you at departure less any costs of breakages or damages. We aim to create a comfortable home environment at Ca Le Cerque. Please let us know any suggestions you may have for improvements.
  
• Prices include electricity, gas, water, final cleaning. Bed linen and bath towels are included. Please do not take bath towels for use outside or away from the house for swimming. Linen and towels will be changed weekly if your stay is longer than one week.
  
• Please arrive after 4pm and depart before 11am to allow us to prepare the property for your stay or the stay of the next guests.

When we were looking for a holiday home for ourselves, we searched for an old Marchiagiana farmhouse with panoramic views and not far from beaches, mountains, historic hill towns, autostrade, airports and trains. Built more than 300 years ago in local stone, Ca Le Cerque fulfils all of our criteria. And by the way, Ca Le Cerque is local dialect for House of the Oak Trees - you wont miss them as you approach our driveway. Young family from Elztal, Germany - Wonderful days in your cosy house. Lot sof fun for the children & perfect pizza at La Grotta in Fossombrone. We’ll be back next year! Three generations from Florida, USA - We came for the opera in Pesaro. Evenings in the garden were super for our little one to run around. We enjoyed the lovely olive oil from the surrounding olive trees. Young family from Vermont, USA - Our kids enjoyed the gardens, the beaches especially Senigallia. A definite highlight was the Grotte di Frassassi for all four of us. Cooking at home with wonderful fresh Italian ingredients better than any home cooking in USA. Family of four expats living in Sri Lanka - Loved Mondavio, Senigallia, Urbino, Grotte di Frassassi & just driving around. Also loved Verdicchio white wine – both varieties. Couple of New Yorkers - ideal change of pace. The diversity of May flowers and birdsong makes Cà le Cerque a most memorable vacation.
