Not far from Serrapetrona a lot of routes are available to anybody archaeological sites of Roman Age; historical buildings and castles of Middle Age; museums; churches; monasteries etc. In the course of the summer, even 2007, a great number of shows and events is regularly scheduled: the Opera festival in Macerata (Arena Sferisterio);Chamber music and symphony concerts in Camerino; latin comedies in latin language in a roman open air theatre in Urbisaglia; many other popular meetings of relevant interest are also available to those who appreciate the gastronomic specialties. Serrapetrona is moreover well known in Italy and in Europe as place of origin of a special red wine Spumante, named 'Vernaccia' DOCG. Cakes, special cheeses, salt pork named 'ciauscolo' are also on sale, with many, many other typical products of the Region. Serrapetrona is also only 35km away from the Sibillini National Park, where walks and paths are usually fairly quiet and not crowded at all.
