The Casa Miralago is a superb two bedroom apartment with fantastic lake views from every (yes every!) room, and swimming pool (9 metres x 5 metres), set in terraced grounds overlooking Lake Orta, the most enchanting of the Italian Lakes. It occupies the upper two floors of a period villa in an idyllic setting on a wooded slope below a small village. Stay here to enjoy the great view, with its ever changing hues by day and by night, the peaceful setting, and to sample the delights of a wonderful area of Italy away from the crowds.

Location and Local Area
The Casa Miralago is just three kilometres from the lakeside village of Orta San Giulio, where there are cafes and mouth-watering trattorias catering for all tastes. Many wonderful day trips can be made in the area, on and around Lake Orta, to Lake Maggiore, and in the mountains. We provide descriptions of seven favourite local walks, several of which start from your front door! There is a great beach at Miami at the south end of the lake. Boat trips on Lake Orta. Rowing boats for hire in Orta San Giulio.
Getting There
The apartment is just 24 miles from Milan Malpensa airport, where many international flights arrive (including British Airways, British Midland and Alitalia), and where there are all the main car hire companies. From the UK, you can get cheap flights with Ryanair and EasyJet, to Turin, Milan Linate, and Milan Bergamo, all within 90 minutes drive.
