Very stylish 70 sq metre loft modernly equipped but full of character with its high ceilings and arches. Located on the vast square of San Giovanni in Laterano, on the ground floor inside the courtyard of a beautiful Palazzo of the last century, This apartment has a lack of natural day light because the two windows are directed in this internal courtyard but the advantage is that it is a quiet place although the San Giovanni square is very busy at day time.Just in front of the oldest and highest obelisk of Rome and nearby the famous Basillica of San Giovanni in Laterano. Very well located at 5 minutes (walking distance) of the metro station Manzoni (line A). The bus station is just in front of the building. Within walking distance of major archeological sites ( Colosseum 5 minutes walk).

The San Giovanni Loft apartment is located on the Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano, in front of the Basilic of San Giovanni. The archeological area is all walking distance. The city center (Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Spanish steps) can also be reached walking (from 15 to 35 min.) or by direct bus line or direct metro line just in a few stops. There are plenty of restaurants, pizzerias, pubs in the area.

The loft was totally renovated a few years ago. The floors are covered by fitted carpet in natural fiber of coco-sisal.It is divided into 3 areas: the first area which is a living room with 2 comfortable sofas (one is a sofa bed for two guests) the second area is a modern kitchen with a bar and a dining area for a maximum of 5 guests, at the end there is a large bathroom with shower (very stylish with its black marble tops), a dressing room with a safety box and finally a charming mezzanine with a double bed. A fifth bed for a child can be added, next to the dressing room. Internet connection under request for those who have a labtop. 5 euro per day (7.2 mega)

It is a quiet place because it is located on the ground floor inside the large courtyard of the Palazzo. There are big ceiling fans for the summer. The loft is serviced before and after rental. The loft is very well connected by the subway and bus, but there are many places within walking distance; Colosseum, Fori Imperiali, Caracalla, Domus Aurea, Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli and Santa Maria Maggiore. On the same side walk there are grocery shops, bars, pizzerias and restaurants, and large shopping area is only 5 minutes walk away (via Merulana and Via Emanuele Filiberto).There is a big and beautiful park ( Celimontana)at 5 minutes where in the summer there are jazz concerts every night.

Die Wohnung sieht genau so aus, wie auf den Fotos mit dem einzigen Unterschied, dass kein einziges Fenster vorhanden ist.Licht kann nur duch die Haustür kommen. Da diese jedoch auf einen Innenhof führt, dringt nur wenig Helligkeit in den Raum. Die Fotos müssen mit Scheinwerfern erstellt worden sein, da selbst mit der gesamten Beleuchtung keine große Helligkeit erzeugt werden kann. Durch das Fehlen der Fenster ist das Raumklima sehr schlecht. Es ist feucht und riecht muffig.
Im Schlafbereich fühlt man sich durch das Anspringen und Laufen eines Generators gestört.
