Large apartment, 127 sqm, in the exclusive and central quarter of Parioli. Third floor with elevator, in beginning of the century building. 10 minutes walk from the historic central parks of Villa Borghese with its newly restored museum (from Ancient Roman art to Canova), and the Roman Zoo, Villa Ada with its fitness in the park trails and lake, and Villa Glori with pony riding. Master bedroom and sitting room with balconies, 5 minutes walk from Theatre, Gourmet restaurants antique and fashion shops, live music bars open till late. Enjoy the Parioli nightlife after a day exploring the historic sites of Rome. Romantic neighbourhood convenient for Touristic attractions.

Or walk 5 minutes to 'La Celestina' to meet the Roman Jetset and wake up with a croissant (more than 10 different fillings) and a perfect cappuccino at 'Il Cigno' bakery. Buy fresh vegetables from the local open market or discover the largest selection of regional cheeses, cold meats and home made pastas from the gourmet shop Gargani.

If at the end of the week you have put on some weight you can sail at the Bracciano Lake, 30 minutes driving, or swim in Fregene, 40 min driving, play golf, tennis, or jog in the most beautiful Roman parks of Villa Ada and Villa Borghese. If you prefer to explore the ancient Roman sites, there is plenty of choice, from the Colosseum, to the Roman Forum, Piazza Navona and the Vatican Museums, with Michelangelo's Sistin Chapel and Raffaello's Rooms, the Caracalla Terms, or the ancient Christian Catacombs. first holiday in rome.

A nice big old apartment and the italian lady who welcomed us was very nice,showed us around quickly and the apartment seemed very clean. After settling in we realiesed that the apartment wasnt newly refurbishied and could of done with a lick of paint ,new carpets and a new main bed.
But all in all it was a nice big apartment clean and with wonderful opening doors onto the balconies and apart from the carpets etc all we could of expected for the money.
It was at least 30 minutes walk to the centre area of Rome but this was made better by the walk through the park villa borghesse which was very nice.
We had no information pack left by the owners regarding buses ,trams or restaurants etc , which would of being helpful as this would of cut down alot of walking.
Again reiterating what we said earlier it was one or two things it was what we expected for the money and we had a good experence of Rome.
If these small issues were addressed this would really live up to its potential .
