• PROCEDURE:
  payment method: by bank transfer, or credit card (via PayPal) as follows:
  - 10% to be paid within 3 days from receipt of the confirmation (makes a booking in the calendar);
  - 20% to be paid within 120 days prior to your arrival (improves the booking process);
  - 20% to be paid within 45 days prior to your arrival (consolidates the booking in the calendar)
  - outstanding amount (50% + deposit) to be paid within 3 days prior your arrival (show the slip at check-in).
  Failure to pay within the terms indicated above will result in the loss of the sums paid and the automatic cancellation of the booking.

The Great Cupola by Michelangelo will always watch over the origins of man-made History, the values of Christianity. From the Basilica of Saint Peter one can see, looking north, the hill of Monte Mario. On top of the Mount the powerful lens of the Astronomic Observatory peer at the rest of the Universe. The hill side is little more than one mile long. Piazza della Balduina and the “Rocca Prudenzio” fountain are located right in the heart of this hill. A pleasant walk separates them from the Vatican Museums and Walls. Piazza della Balduina offers an infinite choice of transport systems, taxi, metro or bus, to reach in a few minutes the bridge of Castel Sant’Angelo or Fontana di Trevi, the steps of Piazza di Spagna or Piazza Navona. In other words any of the wonderful sites and squares in the Historic Centre of Rome.

Piazza della Balduina and the Monte Mario hill

since the 60's saw an explosion of private residences of some of the most important figures in the country's public officers, senators, members of parliament and managers of large companies. Penthouses and gardens of the cinematographic stars and show business people who took home here gave birth to a particular liveliness and to the district's name known simply as 'La Balduina'. Rocca Prudenzio occupies the garden floor overlooking the piazza and is part of a building belonging to one of the first housing schemes of the zone called 'Montecitorio One' ('Montecitorio' is the historic building of the Italian Parliament).

Aurelious Clemente Prudenzio

was one of the most representative poets of the Christian-Latin literature. He lived between the IV and V century after Christ and was famous for combining the values of classic poetry with those of Christianity. The city of Rome dedicated to his name the ramp of stairs leading from the hill of Monte Mario to the Piazza della Balduina. Half way the stairs of this romantic ramp, you will find, semi hidden, the garden overlooking the piazza and, inside it, a private rock made water source: the fountain of 'Rocca Prudenzio', nickname of this very characteristic house.
