  • Rates are all inclusive.
    A refundable deposit of 200 € is required on arrival.
  • 30% deposit is required at booking.
    Cancellation: if for any reason the guest needs to cancel, 50% of the deposit will be reimbursed up to 4 weeks prior the arrival date or the full amount could be kept by the owner as a deposit for a future booking in a year time.
    If there are serious reasons and the owner has to cancel the booking, the deposit will be refunded in full or the owner will provide with an accommodation similar for location and comfort.

The neighbourhood: From the living room window, you can glimpse Piazza Navona & the lovely Baroque façade of Bramante's S. Maria della Pace; open the window & smell the delicious aroma of fresh pizza baking; wake up to the sounds of the locals preparing for their day: Gianni at the corner newspaper kiosk; Fabio at the Alimentari (grocery Store) who will keep you in everything from soap to cheese & wine; the butcher, the baker, yes, even the candle-stick maker its there. Via dei Coronari, famous for its antique stores is a short walk away, as are some of the most glorious painting of Caravaggio in the Church of S.Luigi dei Francesi. Walk to Campo dei Fiori in the morning to buy hot, fresh bread at the bakery in Rome & buy fresh fruit & vegetables, coffee pots & T shirts at the colourful stalls. If during your stay, you never strayed from this neighbourhood, you would still leave with an indelible impression of Rome, its people, its mercurial past and its lively presence.

The apartment: This 2 bedroom apartment is elegantly bur warmly appointed in traditional style, while the kitchen and bathroom have every modern convenience. In summer, the apartment stays cool (Air Conditioning if need it); in winter, the wood burning fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere on a rare but possible, chilly Roman night. Both the large main bedroom and smaller guest room have ample cupboard space. This warm, inviting apartment is wonderful to return to after a busy day of sightseeing. In the evening, some of the best restaurants in all Rome are just a stone's throw away.

Exploring Rome

Once you climb the 72 steps up to the apartment you'll find a large, airy space with great views over Piazza Campo de Fiori. It's well equipped and the small roof terrace is a real plus. It's brilliantly positioned for exploring Rome - you can walk pretty much everywhere from here. In the streets off the square there are many pretty little bars and restaurants to discover. Campo de Fiori is a lively market from around 7.30am to about 2pm. Then in the evening it is full of people walking, drinking and eating. We loved it!

Fabulous location for experiencing Rome

Our six-night stay was fabulous. The apartment is spacious and in a perfect location for experiencing the local food, festivities, night life, etc. It is close to a bus stop for ease of travel in Rome. The apartment manager is very helpful. She helped us hire a reliable driver to take us from the airport to Rome and from Rome to the port. Grocery stores in the area gave us an opportunity to try the local foods. We would definitely stay here again.
