When in Rome....

The main attraction of this spacious and special flat is the huge roof top terrace, decked with plants and sporting an outdoor kitchen. Superb, and indeed necessary, for hot August nights. Easy access to Rome on subway, bus or foot yet location makes one feel like a Roman because out of the tourist area and very much part of the community. Friendly neighbours, extremely helpful and friendly landlord. Excellent local shops.

Great time in Rome

We had a great time in this apartment. It is large with a nice kitchen and huge balcony. The owner, Fausto, is very reliable, friendly and helpful. Internet service is provided as is satellite TV (although not all the possible channels are subscribed). Air conditioning also.

We really benefitted from the proximity of the Metro station and local rail. We took the rail (it's like a metro) two stops to visit Monteverde, where my relatives are. We took the metro to the center and a number of places. The station is called "Valle Aurelia". We had no car and got around just fine. You buy a pass that works for 1 day, 3 days or a week. It works on the metro, rail, bus, everything. Very convenient. It's the best way to get around Rome.

Walking to the grocery store is a little far (about five minutes). There are lots of options nearby. One metro stop away we found a street with restaurants, bakery, grocery, bars, "tavola calda" (hot take-away meals), etc. You could also walk there (about 10 minutes). There are other streets within walking with similar amenities. Fun to explore.

This is a large, well located property that is good for families and groups.

wondeful holidays!!!

Our family of 6, enjoyed this flat for a full week, with enough privacy for parents and children, elegant and totally equipped, and at an extremely good price. Children enjoyed the two balcons to play. With a 10 minutes bus, we were at the historical region. The wonderful historical park, Villa Panfili, is at 10 minutes on foot.

The owner was extremely helpful with all kind of suggestions, maps, places to visit. Not only, but when we had a couple of friends visiting us for one day, he offered them the door-to-door studio flat, for free. And, he gave us an internet wireless key, to check our mail without having to visit internet cafés.
Definitely to recommend, apartment and..landlord
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
