Lovely Rome apartment

Review Submitted: June 21, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We stayed here for 4 nights, and I would thoroughly recommend it. it is a half hour bus ride (1 euro each way)from the old centre, in a lovely residential area, that felt very safe. There are great local shops, daily market, and a great choice of excellent restaurants, all full of local Italians, and not tourists.
The apartment was clean and smart, and very comfortable, and had everything that we needed, including welcoming air con on some very hot days.
Silvia met us, and was very helpful with local information. We would definitely go there again.
Owner's Response: Thank you! It will my pleasure to host you again in my home.

Lovely and sunny apartment in Rome Salario/Parioli

c... United Kingdom
Review Submitted: April 29, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Good value for money. Large apartment, we were there when it was quite warm and it was lovely and cool inside the apartment. Bed was comfortable. Very clean and fresh. Bus only a couple of minutes away by foot took us everywhere we wanted to go, Colloseum and Roman Ruins, Vatican City etc. The shower was a bit bizarre, but we did not find it too bad. Owner very nice and facilitating. Overall impression of the apartment was very good. We would stay here again.
Owner's Response: Thank you, you are welcome again!

Peaceful apartment on the doorstep of the city

Alejandra Andalucia
Review Submitted: June 10, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
My husband and I stayed in Silvia's studio for a week at the end of may. The studio is very well situated outside the main bustle of the city but within a very short distance of several bus routes making easy access to all the main sites of Rome. One of the lovely things about the apartment is that within the local area there are some excellent trattorias, shops and bars patronised by local people rather than tourists so at the end of a long days sightseeing it was lovely to wander the area and share the local character of the city. The studio itself was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We felt that it was good value for money. On the plus side a really comfortable bed was a great bonus and the silence at night was a welcome relief from the traffic noise and continuous emergency sirens that were a backdrop to the city of Rome. On the minus side the bathroom was slightly cramped but adequate, and there was plenty of hot water. This is the first time that we have stayed in an apartment rather than a hotel and we would definately do it again. Thankyou Silvia. It was a real treat
Owner's Response: Thank you Alexandra, I was honoured to have as guests in my apartment and hope you will come back!
I am grateful for your excellent review which will help other guests!

a nice little appartment - tidy and quiet; central but not touristic with a very sympathic neighbourhood- to recommend to live like a citizen of Rome.
To recommend is also he good bus connection downtown.
Owner's Response: Thank you! It has been a pleasure to have you as guests in my property! Hope to see you again.
