ATTICO AURELIA ANTICA is situated in a quiet residential area only 5 km from St. Peter's, near all kinds of shops, restaurants, bars, with short way to the city centre (bus 881 or 98). The penthouse floor consists of 2 apartments, you can choose between renting a 2 room apartment with an exclusive 60sq m terrace, ideal for 2-5 persons, a 1 room studio apartment with balcony, sleeping 1-3 persons or the whole floor, sleeping 8 persons. The air-conditioned apartments were fully renovated and modernly furnished in 2006. Free access to wireless high-speed Internet. The beautiful, panoramic, 100 sqm roof-terrace with all facilities is however the most fantastic feature of Attico Aurelia Antica! It is reserved for our guests only. We have 12 garden chairs and 5 deck chairs. Dining table for 6-8, sofagroup for 5. BBQ and shower. And lots of wonderful flowers, orange/lemon trees, palms, and herbs for your cooking. Enjoy the sunset in your private heaven after your hard tourist days!

Lovely 2 room fully renovated apartment, sleeping 5, with its own, exclusive 60 square meter panoramic terrace, complete with 2 sitting/dining groups, sun beds and barbeque. The panoramic living room has got 3 double French windows with access to the terrace. It is modernly furnished with a glass/aluminium dining table seating 4-8 people. There's a comfortable double sofa bed and a built-in cupboard and a chest of drawers. Free wireless high speed Internet. Satellite TV, DVD. The bedroom is air-conditioned, choose between a king size bed or twin beds.The bright kitchen is fully equipped: big refrigerator with separated deep freeze, dishwasher, 4 ring gas cooker with electric oven/grill and of course cupboards and drawers with all you need of tableware, pots and pans. There's a washer, steam iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment. The spacious, airy bathroom has Jacuzzi tub with shower. Another beautiful 100sq m roof terrace is reserved for our guests.

Bus nr. 881 or 98 brings you directly to the historical centre of Rome. Experience the ultimate combination of epic history, sublime gastronomy and fiery southern temperament.Visit, for example, the Forum Romanum, the Circus Maximus and the Colosseum, and the many beautiful and impressive churches, such as the Pantheon, the Vatican and magnificent Saint Peter's Basilica. When visiting Rome, it is practically obligatory to see the Spanish Steps and the beautiful Trevi fountain. Its said that all roads lead to Rome, but let me add that if you need a break from the hectic pace of the city, only 15 min away, they surely lead to Attico Aurelia Antica in Via dei Brusati 33!!!

Notes: Smoking is only allowed on the terraces. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor and there is no lift/elevator, but 65 low 'Renaissance'-steps a few times a day will only increase our health! Moreover, the local shops will gladly bring your heavy purchases to your roman home without a surcharge. And we can of course give you a hand up and down with your luggage. The apartment was fully renovated and furnished in 2006/2009. I, Hanne Retvik Lombardo, am personally taking care of the rental and have been living only 2 minutes away for the last 13 years (totally 33 years in Rome, after leaving my home country Norway). Peace in the Valley

This is the right place to be after a long day of sightseeing and shopping in beautiful Rome. The beautiful terrace is the best part of the apartment, for breakfast, to stretch out in the sun or to find peace in the evening with a glass of wine.
The bus ride into town can be a little crowded but it has its charm.
The apartment is well equipped, and the stores nearby provide you with everything you need to eat and drink.

4 romantic days in Rome; November 2007

Our first visit to Rome. We was warmly welcomed by Hanne in this beautiful appartment. We started our stay in Rome on the roof terrace; enjoying the afternoon sun and the wiew; with a bottle of sparkling wine. Unforgetable!
After a day in the city, with lot of impressions; it was nice to come back to the appartment to have some relax, a good nigth sleep and a tasty breakfast, before a new exiting day in the city. The bus connection worked out very well. The first evening we took a taxi from the city, but
the driver had trouble finding the adress, so we used the bus the other evenings. The last evening we ate at the pizza restaurant in the neighburhood. It was crowded with
local residents with true italian atmosphere. Highly recomendable!! And the pizza was terriffic! I hope we can come back to Rome and stay in Hanne's appartment some other time.

We enjoyed the stay

For a small family with a four year old boy the apartment was an excellent retreat during our New Years Holiday. We enjoyed the quietness of the location, easy transport to city center, and not least the opportunity to spend time outside in the sun even if it was January. Last but not least, friendly support and advise from the owner made our stay a most pleasant one.

This lovely apartment with its excellent terraces offered the perfect setting for our week long stay in Rome. Quiet, friendly neighbourhood with some excellent restaurants. Short walk to bus stop with frequent service to Rome city centre. Relaxing on the terrace with a glass of chilled white wine after a long day of sightseeing is my idea of perfect! And what a friendly, fun, knowledgeable, service minded hostess, too :-) Excellent quality and highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Rome

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for the first time in 2006 and have been back yearly since.
It is fully furnished and very clean, situated in a suburban area. It's like a second home for us, decorated nicely and with the owner as host. Alle these things mean a lot to us.

The reason we booked it the first time was the terrace. And the terrace is incredible. 60 square meters, high-quality furniture and a view! This is where you really let your shoulders drop. And it's only for you and totally private.

A word of advice : this is not for the party crowd. It is after all a residential area.
