Villa La Paiola-Lago di Vico is just 45min driving (fast superstrada Cassia Veientana) from Rome.The metro station Saxa Rubra situated near the ring, with a large secure parking for your car (euro 2,00/day).Saxa Rubra is only 10min from center of Roma by metro connection.
A children's area is on the nearby beach with fun toys especially for them.Entrance to water is from coarse sand beach,possibility to hire umbrella and sun loungers directly on the lake or bikes,euro 4,00/hour.The Lake is not deep & is perfect for kids.The place allows a nice mix between sports (canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, biking) on the lake with organized club.To preserve the environment, motor boats have been forbidden since 1970.
