Regional Park of Veio: Thanks to its 15.000 ha. area it constitutes one of the most important “green wedges” penetrating the borders of the city of Rome. Within the protected area there are various inhabited centres principally agricultural and rural, that with their gastronomic and village traditions make this an ideal place to spend a holiday, just a few kilometers away from the capital. The Village::
The Village is 200 m above sea level, in a cooler area than the roman plain, where several local Trattorias and Pizzerias serve good home-cooked locally-grown produce at reasonable prices.
