Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed it when we visited Rome earlier this
year. We had a blast, drank lots, ate lots and met some fantastic people -

Best stay in 11 months of travel

I have been travelling for nearly 11 months and my stay at Rome Number 23 was the most enjoyable accommodation experience I have had in this time.
The property is within quick and easy access of Rome by train yet it's like a rural haven, with lovely self-contained apartments overlooking the beautiful garden that's home to 4 peacocks, a duck and several very free-range chickens.
What made my stay here extraordinary, was the kindness, generousity and friendship of the owner family. I was treated more like a friend than a paying guest and nothing was too much trouble for Sue and Giovanni, who I consider to be rare gems. Sue thought of absolutely everything that could add to the pleasure of my stay, way beyond my expectations. I was driven to the station and shown how to purchase a train ticket, given printed information regarding the trains home, told about all the sights to see around Rome and shown routes to see them. Sue even offered to pick me up from the station on my return though its just a five minute walk.
The breakfasts were 5 star quality and filled me up till dinner. Sue and Giovanni are excellent cooks and I was given one of the best 3 course dinners I've had in Italy when I decided to eat at home one night.
My apartment was kept meticulously clean and was equipped with everything that I could possibly need.
All this care and attention added so much to my enjoyment of lovely Rome. I have already recommended this property to friends and plan on returning there in the near future.
