Situated one km. from a ten miles sand beach the house is located one mile outside Sabaudia town centre, in a residencial area and overlook a natural lakes. The house has two double bedroom and a single bedroom, two bathrooms fully equipped. The area wildlife is protected.

Sabaudia is one of best Italian coastlines in Italy and again for this year has gained the BLUE FLAG for the quality of the sea water which allowed snorkelling around the Promontorio with natural breathtaking views. Villa Domiziano dates back to the I Century B.C., lays right on th Paola's Lake, still excavating, extends on an area of over 40 hectares; very interesting is the thermal spa, the enormous water tanks and the bathing area, can visited, only with a guide previously booked with the local tourist board. Running along the coastal road, and having Reached Torre Paola, you come upon a levelled ground road-mender by the bridge of the Roman port-canal. Subsequently, a footpath emerges to the right, marked by signals; it ascends to the peak of Circe, famous for Omer's Odyssey, achieved only after a two hours long climb through a luxurious mediterranean forest and evergrenn oaks, The four coastal lakes are set in a unique and spectacular landscape, are a real heaven for bird-watchers

HISTORIC SITES:: Sabaudia is half way from Rome and Naples around an hour by car. Also well connected by train and buses. Historic sites are all around the provence. Pompei and Ercolano are easy getting sites from the property and plus other not listed on officials publications. Excursions to 'Villa di Domiziano' with guide. Priverno's archeologic museum.

PONTINE ISLANDS:: From April to October daily connection by ferries to the Pontine's Islands: Ponza, Ventotene and Zanone. Departures from S.Felice Circeo and Formia. Contacting the local tourist board opportunity to hire a sailing boat and sail privately to the islands. Canoe hire on the local Sabaudia lakes.

wonderful summer holidays in sabaudia

we a family of five (kids 11, 10 and 7) spent wonderful 2 weeks in the house in sabaudia. The house was as described. The kitchen has all facilities you need, the house was very clean and the garden also was very nice. The owner was very nice to answer all our questions from the first e-mail conact till the end of our stay. The beach is really fantastic with fabolous sand and also very clean and it isn't very crowded. I would recommend this beach also for families with smaller childrens because the water isn't much deep in the beginning. The house is ideally placed to visit Rome, Herculaneum and Pompeii. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys relaxing on the beach, touring the countryside, and returning to a lovely private home in the evening.

A great holiday in Sabaudia (beach & culture) !!

We can strongly recommend a holiday in Sabaudia. We enjoyed the 2 weeks we (two adults and two small children) spent at the house. The house has all facilities you need to have a great holiday including airco (recommended). The garden too is really nice with lots of flowers and bushes and palm trees.

The owner, Vincenzo, is very nice and helpful! Everything went smoothly, all the way from first email queries of the house, to actually being at the house.

Sabaudia is a nice small town, and the wide beach with white sand is one of the best beaches we ever seen! Even in the weekends the beaches were not crowded.

A few small tips though:
- the beach is too far to walk with small children, take your (rental) car (parking fee EUR 1 p/hour) or bikes;
- Sabaudia town centre is too far to walk, take also your car or bikes.
- very few people speak english, so try to learn a little italian.

Near by is Ser Jeek and Zeffiro restaurants - pls try them -we liked them a lot.

There are various nice trips to make from Sabaudia of which Rome (1.5 hours by car) and Pompeii (2.5 hours by car) are the best.

Beautiful house and garden, near a splendid beach

We can warmly recommend this house!

We enjoyed the 2 weeks we spent at the house. The garden too is really nice with lots of flowers and bushes and palm trees.

The owner is very nice and helpful! Everything went smoothly, all the way from first email queries of the house, to actually being at the house.

Sabaudia is a nice small town, and the beach is fantastic. So many miles of white sand and the great Mediterranean sea.

A few small tips though:
very few people speak english, so try to learn a little italian (we did - and that helped us a lot) before your trip.

Near by is Ser Jeek and Zeffiro restaurants - pls try them -we liked them a lot.
But we cannot recommend La Capricciosa... we were treated very unfriendly + we had to wait more than 1 hour for the first plate (though other tables got theirs in normal 10 minutes) + we got 1 small plate for 2 + the plate was not what we ordered + we got charged extra... and brushed off. We are happy that all other places were great + friendly.

The other neighbour of the house was surprisingly loud (TV, arguments, shouting, walking the stone-stairs with loud shoes / high heels for hours ... at night) but the nice renter of our house promised to talk to them, so I am sure this is not a problem further on. We should have said something earlier.

We recommend you to visit Sabaudia and rent this really nice house!

Lovely House- Fantastic Beach.

Really enjoyed our stay here. owner very helpful.very clean and well maintained. Car needed to get to beach/ shops etc. Pizzeria nearby very good. The house is ideally placed for anyone like ourselves who wish to use it as a base to visit Rome, Pompeii, Sezze, Bassiano etc.
we would recommend it to friends.

Very enjoyable stay in a large, accommodating house close to the Mediterranean. The property was charming, the house very clean, well-maintained, and matched the description perfectly. We received excellent customer service upon arrival and felt very comfortable and welcome during our entire stay. The beach nearby was cleaner and nicer than any on the coast that we experienced, and we found the town of Sabaudia to be relaxing and down-to-earth. The nearby towns between Sabaudia, Terracina, and Gaeta were lovely to tour through and within easy reach by car. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys relaxing on the beach, touring the countryside, and returning to a lovely private home in the evening.
