Photos and Description of this Latina Province holiday house Self catering rental sleeping from 7 to 11 people

The spacious holiday house is in a private gated complex. The name of the complex is villa Lena, there are eight apartments two of which are available for self catering rental. In Summer villa Lena is full of children and my sisters in low are very helpful to our guests if requested. The house is inside a security gated walled garden that opens onto the main road. It is well protected and, according to our young guests, good fun to explore and play in. The large apartment occupies the first and second floor of the house with independent entrance from the shared garden, sleeping six- seven people comfortably. The small one is in the basement, entrance in the rear - sleeps up to 4 . The whole house is a good accommodation for a large group. The parking is inside. The large apartment has air conditioning in the bedrooms . There are also fans provided for those especially warm days. Heating for the cooler months. The sandy beach, child safe, with beach clubs, is only 150 metres far.

The entrance to the large apartment is on the terrace from the shared garden. The apartment consists of a large living room on two levels, separating the dining from the sitting area with two steps. The kitchen is in a separated room and a door in the living area opens to an half bath with shower. A second terrace with a small sink has access from both the kitchen and the dining area. From the living room a staircase leads to the first floor featuring the master bedroom with its private terrace, one double and one twin bedroom, both sharing a second terrace. The bathroom has bath and shower.

Across the road and down a lane some 150m you will find the local beach, beach clubs, bars and a beach pool for the kids. There are watersports, boats for hire and a couple of play areas within a further 5-10 minute walk in either direction. You can visit the local markets, Sperlonga (best beach in the area and Summer Home of the EmperorTiberius), Gaeta - fab eating with a few lively night time haunts, Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento - stunning drive down the coast and a waterpark (40mins in the car towards Cassino). All can be visited with ease from the Villa. You can take the train to Rome and had a fantastic day of sightseeing, eating and shopping. You get the “Express” at 7.45am from the station in Town (Formia is about ten minutes walk from the house) which gets you into Rome just before 9am!(the fee only 10,50 including the metro ticket in Rome!).The garage next door has a surprisingly good daily “deli-counter”. Down town there are fab local eateries and even a Macdonalds

  • Discount depending on length of stay. Supplement for heating and air conditioning (as per meter) depending on the season. Security deposit, Euro 200, will be refunded 14 days after departure. Down payment / Deposit requested (35% of the rental amount) on booking. Balance payment eight weeks before arrival by bank swift transfer or by credit card. Supplement Euro 100 for final cleaning. Supplement for late check in (Euro 100 after midnight; Euro 50 after 10 pm). Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup.
    NOT INCLUDED bath and beach towels.
  • DAMAGE /DEPOSIT- A damage deposit of Euro 200 is
    required. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
    a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
    b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or
    services rendered during the stay.
    c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled
    dishes are cleaned.
    d. All keys are left on the kitchen table and unit is left locked.
    e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
    f. No linens are lost or damaged.
    g. NO Early check-in or late check-out.
    h. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner),
    the local law enforcement.
    1. PAYMENT - An advance payment equal to 35% of the rental rate is required
    on booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the house.

More details: Our guests' favourite local “pizza” place is situated on the square of Castellone, the oldest part of Formia, 15 minute walk but less than 5 by the car. The area around this square is ideal, you can watch your children playing whilst you eat a good unexpensive pizza (kids always wolf down their food to “get out and play” don’t they?).

Our vacation at Villa Lena in Formia was wonderful. The place is beautiful and the scenery fantastic. The beach across the road was lovely and the sea great to swim in. Many thanks to Silvia and her family. They were great and were only too pleased to help if we needed anything. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and recommended and hope to go back again. Thanks Silvia.
