Cosy family villa in a lovely location

Two families (8 in total) spent 1 week in this cosy family home. Lots of space, inside and outside. Rural, reasonably quiet, sunny location with panoramic views of orchards and hills on the horizon. Pool is just fine. Several places to sit or lounge outside. A week is not enough to see all the interesting places in the area, especially when one also wants to enjoy the pool! Train station to Roma (Termini station, 45 min.) at Orte Scalo (20 min. by car). The region is still unspoiled, low prices and good food, only few tourists around. Polish up your Italian... the locals hardly speak English. The caretaker is a real gem, speaks good English and has lots of tips. We enjoyed a pasta & pizza making class at her place, a perfect evening. Soriano is a nice little town. Supermarket in Sant' Eutizio is a few km's by car (all 3 bicycles had flat tyres).
Kitchen is well equiped. Table tennis & baby foot, a few DVD's for when the weather is not so nice. We would suggest a new coating to the paint work and a little maintenance here & there (shutters are a bit jammed, knives are blunt, ..). The 4 cats are extremely well behaved and the children loved feeding them. Watering all the flower pots felt like home. Owners gave quick and friendly e-mail response. Casa Glenister is a comfortable, clean and welcoming house.
