If you like what you see on the pictures, just go for it, for it is even
better in real life.
The view is magnificent (the flats have their balcony/terrace towards the sea) here you can enjoy a good glass of wine, eat olives and good Parma ham and enjoy the panorama view. If the temperature is not to high you can even see Capri. The flats are not luxurious, but functional. (Good beds) The pool was very nice to take a swim in after sightseeing or after a day at the beach. Our kids loved it and some days we just stayed at the villa. The atmosphere here is very friendly and you really get the opportunity to relax and enjoy life. The flats even have a garden where you can play ping-pong, or lie in a hammock. It is almost like you live in a private place! There is also washing machine on the area, so you can freshen up your beach towels and other things that's needs a wash. The place is about 5-10 min away from the main street in Santa Maria di Castellabate. Santa Maria di Castellabate is a small village, with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Also you have many restaurants in the area around (Castellabate /Sant Marco or outside the center of Santa Maria di Castellabate). Ask the host for recommendation. The nearest bakery is also 5-10 min walk away (on your way to the village center), and there are at least 3 supermarkets I know of, where you can do your shopping. Sant Marco is the "next door" village, 10 min drive from Santa Maria, and from the harbor in Sant Marco, you can take the ferry (catamaran) over to Capri. Santa Maria di Castellabate is about 2
hours drive from Napoli. We had executions to Pompeii, and a roundtrip to the Amalfi-coast. The prices are higher on the Amalfi-coast and Capri was very expensive, but you can't miss the opportunity to go there, when you are in the area. Castellabate is a village situated on the hills, behind Santa Maria di Castellabate, and here you must go to see the sunset. I recommend to rent a car so you are free to move around in the area. (For instance you are in the middle of mozzarella producing district). Plenty of places to visit, and 14 days are simply not enough. I highly recommend it.
