Villa Elaia is situated in a scenery of immeasurable beauty, dipped in the tranquillity of an olive grove, to approximately 500 meters from the centre of the wonderful village of 'SANTA MARIA DI CASTELLABATE' and from the sea. Flats have a surface of about 55 m² and are composed from a double room, a twin-bedded room, American kitchen, diving room with divan single bed, TV/SAT, bath with shower, hair dryer, washing machine, iron. All rooms are equipped of conditioned air and linen. First floor flats enjoy a wide terrace with sight sea. Groundfloor flats enjoy a wide private garden . SANTA MARIA DI CASTELLABATE, colourful seafaring village, has become in the last years a famous international tourist destination thanks to the marvellous coast and its ability to conserve intact in the time the ancient traditions of the Cilento.   • The flat is rented weekly from Saturday 4 p.m. to Saturday 10.30 a.m. It is possible having same flexibility during low season. Prices are for a max of five people and include water, electricity, gas. A set of sheets and towels is included in the price, an extra set is charged at Eur 20. It is required a charge of Eur 40 for the final cleaning. A deposit of Eur 100 is required the day of the arrival and it is given back the departure day after having checked the good shape of the flat. To book the flat It is required an advance of 30% and the difference will be payed the day of arrival.

Nous avons séjourné à la Villa Elaia au début avril 2009 et nous gardons des souvenirs inoubliables. La villa est situé dans un petit village typique et la vue sur la mer est formidable. Cette propriété est très confortable et très bien tenue par le propriétaire.
Une voiture est par ailleurs nécessaire si l'on désire voir les alentours.

Our stay in Villa Elaia

We stayed at Villa Elaia for 5 nights in September and enjoyed our stay a lot. Our apartament (nr 4) had a splendid sea view and a nice terrace, the apartament is really as nice as at the pictures. Kitchen is also well equipped, the only inconvenience is that there isn't even salt in the apartament so in case you want to cook yourself, you have to buy everything!
Santa Maria di Castellabate about one km from the apartament (townhill, so its a bit climbing back) is a charming little village with nice beach and friendly people. I would recommend it to anyone seeking for peaceful and quiet vacation.

Late season at Villa Elaia

My girlfriend and I stayed in Biancolilla for five days in early October. The weather was great, the village and beaches were crowd-free, and our accomodation was excellent. I enjoy cooking and found the kitchen amenities to be quite good. The decor is neat, warm and tasteful, and the welcome and support provided by Alfonso was courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Altogether a very nice place to stay.

Beautiful place to stay

We stayed in the Villa (apartment Nocellara) for nine days in September 2009. When we arrived we found a beautiful and very clean place to stay with a terrace that offered a tremendous view onto the sea. Everything was as described by the friendly owner Alfonso. He and his wife were very helpful whenever we needed support. We highly recommend the Villa, witch is just a ten minutes walk away from the beach. Below the villa ( 100 m) is the Strada Statale 267. That might disturb very noise sensitive people, but didn't affect our holidays at all. We enjoyed the days in St. Maria di Castellabate and the Villa.

For our Honeymoon

My husband and I chose Villa Elaia for our late winter Honeymoon. We were very pleased. It is a beautiful, very clean villa located in a gorgeous area. We had trouble finding it, though, as it is up on a hill. Make sure you look at the map before you leave. We were very satisfied! They are beautifully decorated inside. Alfonso speaks good english and is extremely kind and helpful! Thank you Alfonso! Although our trip had to be cut short, we greatly enjoyed our stay. In the winter months, it was much colder than we expected in Santa Maria di Castellabate. There are heaters in the Villa that kept the chill off, but I believe it would make a better rental in the summer months. Also, the town is very deserted in the wintertime. Many places are closed, and there are few people around. You must know Italian, because it is rare that you'll find someone who speaks english in the off-season. I'm sure there is a vibrant Italian seaside feel in the summer, but we saw a different side of it. Beautiful nonetheless. We cooked most of our meals in the Villa and ate on the balcony overlooking the sea! We will cherish the memories! Thank you Alfonso! You did a beautiful job on this Villa! We hope to come back someday! We highly recommend you!
