Apartment sea-view 100 mt from the beach, Sciacca Agrigento Sicily

I stayed in a 1-bedroom version of this flat on the same residence.
The flat was clean and new. the town was great but be aware it's a italian holiday city, so if you don't speak italian be prepared to point and wave. You definitely need to rent a car. For those of you who are not used to cold water (like me), you can enjoy the swimming pools of piscina mollineli. local restaurants and ice-cream shops were great and not that expensive. points to remember: People drive like italians - be careful.
a map or a gps are very good tools.
the shops and bars close for lunch - including supermarkets and pharmacies.
I did a boat tour that leaves from castellamare dell golfo that was beautiful and worthwhile.
Antonio - the manager- was helpful. he came and met us on his lunch hour. in the fridge there was a bottle of water and a plate with fruits. He gave us details of where to find what.
Capo san marco - where the flat is - is calm and you can have a great family holiday.
Just don't forget the water is cold - as cold as england.
you can also see selinunte and agrigento to see the greek temples.
and the etna volcano.
or if you prefer you can visit all the other beaches around there - which are beautiful.
i would go back and recommend to fellow travelers.
