At the feet of Volcano Etna between Catania & Taormina you find a very modern Marina town Riposto “Porto dell’Etna”. At home you can find everything you need for a comfortable holiday with warm Sicilian hospitality! The 3 room house, “Casa du Portu” is at about 100 m from sea, 90 m² on the ground floor:- 1 large living room with double sofa bed; 1 large sleeping, double bedroom with air conditioner with TV/Sat; 1 long passage; 1 kitchen/living room with air conditioner with TV/Sat; 1 shower/bidet/wc. Side courtyard with garden furniture. Roof terrace with balcony with view the sea & the mountain. Riposto (CT),”Port of Etna” is located on the Ionian sea, about 30 Km north of Catania and 15Km south of Taormina. It is located in a fortunate and very important geographic-landscaped context, either for the sea with the newest tourist port with the ´´seawater front´´ into the city, or for baths, walks, excursions & visits also guided in the small villages of the “Park of Etna'.

Place that together conciliates the need of a clean sea to the fresh air of the small villages on the Volcano’s hills. The beaches are either free of charge or equipped with comfortable lidos & opened from June to mid Sept.. Possibility to skiing at about 30min. by car or to see the spectacular eruption with a sparking fireworks show, at moment at the Volcano Etna with its stunning view. Riposto is served of city & extra city buses (stopped to 100mt), by Circum Etnea Railway (Station 300mt) & National Railway station Giarre-Riposto (Trenitalia). Public parking on the road. Supermarket, restaurants, bar, butcher's, baker's, wine shop, pastries, book shop around 100-200mt. Famous fish market abt.400mt. You can order pizza or warm prepared good foods by a telephone call or to taste 'Granita al caffé', or 'pistacchio' special ice-cream with a various fruit taste. You can ask to taste 'paste di mandorla' or 'cannoli alla ricotta', or 'cassata siciliana' special local pastries.

Not too far from the house you can rent a cabin motorboat (12 m long) to sail and take photos, swim, fish and it is possible to cook and eat on board the fishes you have caught.
