Large (4 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, sleeps 10) luxury villa by the sea. A villa with 200 square metres of living space. Additional 200 square metres of recreational space on the roof top terrace. Master bedroom has ensuite bathroom. Most rooms have balconies. Weber gas BBQ on the terrace. Plenty of outside patio space. Lemon. Orange and Banana trees populate the garden. Only 5 minutes by car to the beach or Sciacca town centre. A 10 minute drive from the new 5 star luxury Golf complexwith two 18 hole championship level courses at Verdura.

A beautiful part of Sicily with fine beaches, Sciacca is famous for its thermal baths. Renowned also for its fine pottery and beautifully crafted Coral. Within easy reach of the archaeological area of Selinute and the Temple Valley in Agrigento. The Arabic towns of Caltabellotta, Marsala and Erice are also just a short drive away. Sciacca itself is not just about its thermal baths. Its Norman areas of Duomo, the Steripinto Palace and the Church of Saint Margherita are well worth visiting. On the last Thursday before Lent Sciacca holds its famous Carnival that is believed to date back to 1616. Celebrations commence with the symbolic delivery of the keys of the town to Peppe Nappa, a mask-symbol of the Carnival and its King. The height of event is the float parade that starts on Saturday and continues until Tuesday. The Parade lasts an entire night and culminates in the recital of satirical play staged in Piazza Scandaliato. It all ends on the night of Shrove Tuesday.

Parking: Secure parking is available for up to 3 cars.

We arrived in Sciacca, having taken the wrong turn-off at about 2.30pm on a Sunday afternoon. A phone call to Bob brought him to us within 5 minutes and he led us to the apartment, explaing a few essentials along the way. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well decorated. The apartment had high ceilings and large rooms, accomodating our party of 8 quite easily. The location is excellent for exploring the south west of the island and the ruins at Agregento, erinea mecloa and selinunte are within an hours drive and well worth a visit. The beach at Erinea Mecloa is also excellent. Highly recommended.
