Two floors villa, located in a silent green place nearby principal touristic sites, (Taormina, Etna, Siracusa, Catania), out of the village but nearby. Private swimming pool, (mt. 7x13), with hot and cold shower. Big panoramic terrace. Washing machine, sheets and towels included, cooking stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, dish washing machine. Stereo, TV room, VCR, bicycle, barbecue. Heating and fireplace. 45 minutes drive from Picciolo golf club, 30 minutes to Etna funivia or cross -country skiing. Vineyard.

A group of ten or eleven staying here gets a very good value and relaxing holiday. The house is very spacious with fantastic views towards the sea, though some double beds are singles pushed together.
The owners are very nice and relaxed - we only saw them right at the beginning and end of our break.
The pool is clean and a great size with steps at the shallow end making it easy for kids to get in and out. The local town, Zafferana Etnea, was very enjoyable to visit for shopping and wandering about (though not within walking distance) but you need to go further afield for proper sightseeing.
While we were there Etna was in an active phase and we could hear it rumbling in the distance sometimes, maybe not ideal for those of a very nervous disposition.
